On Aug. 15, the new Mazda CX-4 officially went on sale, with new car owners upgrading and optimizing their smart security and comfort configurations, with an official guidance price of 14.88-212800 yuan.

As a modified model, the new Mazda CX-4 is consistent with the current model in appearance, still using the Mazda family soul design, the large shield intake grille is surrounded by silver chromium plated strips, and the chrome decoration is integrated with the willow leaf headlights on both sides. The interior design of the new CX-4 will not be much different from the current model, with black and red colors in the car and red leather wrap in the door to enhance the sense of grade. In addition, in the configuration of science and technology, the new CX-4 is equipped with AEB medium and high speed brake assistance, adaptive cruise, lane departure warning, 360 °panoramic monitoring system and other functions.

In terms of power, the new car is equipped with 2.0L and 2.5L naturally aspirated engines, the maximum power is 116kW and 141kW, and the maximum torque is 202N m and 252N m respectively. The transmission system matches the 6-speed manual self-integrated gearbox. As for Mazda's Blue Sky X-series engine, it will not appear on the new Mazda CX-4.

It is understood that the CX-4, a compact SUV under FAW Mazda, made its debut at the 2015 Guangzhou Auto Show and officially went on sale in June 2016. it has been developed for more than four years in China.

According to the data, CX-4 ranks in the top three in terms of sales and pertinent performance of Mazda's products, but the model is currently mired in quality defects in the strange ring door, and the future development of the car is a mystery.

As of Aug. 14, CX-4 received 64 complaints, ranking second on the list. The main complaints were abnormal body noise, abnormal noise in the center console, abnormal noise in the skylight and abnormal steering system. According to fault statistics, CX-4 abnormal sound doors are mainly concentrated in 2020 models, of which 326 complaints are received about abnormal body noise, 89 complaints about center console noise, 32 complaints about skylight noise and 16 complaints about car interior noise, 12 complaints about steering system noise and 10 complaints about brake system noise.

From the configuration point of view, there is no obvious difference between the configuration of the 2020 CX-4 and the 2021 CX-4, from this point of view, the CX-4 abnormal sound door still has a certain extension, the new CX-4 will not face a large number of complaints.

The CX-4 and the Atez are two FAW Mazda models, but both models are caught up in the Yixiangmen incident, and Attez has dominated the list of complaints for many months in a row. At present, Mazda officials have not yet given effective measures to solve the abnormal noise of car models, which also highlights that FAW Mazda has been unable to find the root cause of the problem of "abnormal noise" and can not cure the "problem". This has undoubtedly become a factor that continues to affect the reputation of FAW Mazda, and at the same time, it also makes FAW Mazda owners fall into an indefinite wait.
