AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)08/20 Report--
The sudden accident of a new car is unfortunate in everyone's eyes, and according to the process, the damage must be determined before the vehicle maintenance. But a few days ago, an accident vehicle in the damage period, encountered 4S store dismantling but the car owners can not understand.
In January this year, Ms. Peng from Fujian bought a Mercedes-Benz E260 coupe at a Ruixing Mercedes-Benz 4S store in Quanzhou, spending a total of more than 600,000 yuan. Some time ago, a rear-end collision damaged the rear bumper and the left rear blade of the new car. However, Ms. Peng reflected that when the vehicle was towed to Ruixing 4S store by the insurance company to determine the damage, the staff of the 4S store disassembled the vehicle without authorization.
According to Ms. Peng, since the accident, her vehicle has repeatedly told the 4S store not to carry out vehicle maintenance without consent. She wants to know the specific damage of the vehicle first. But by the end of July, the 4S store sent itself pictures of the dismantled vehicles.
According to the car that Ms. Peng parked in the 4S store at present, it was almost disassembled. In Ms. Peng's view, her car was only hit by the rear bumper and the left rear blade, but the whole car was dismantled in many places, so it could not be understood. At the same time, Ms. Peng also mentioned that the dismantling of the vehicle is still an unauthorized act of the 4S store. After all, her car is still a new car that has not been driven long ago, and she needs to know about the devaluation after that.
In response to Ms. Peng's statement, the manager of the 4S store said whether the accident caused damage to the interior of the vehicle, and that in order to make a more accurate quotation, the store needed to be dismantled to understand, and informed Ms. Peng of the dismantling behavior at that time. At the same time, the shop's workshop supervisor also said that the disassembly of vehicles is a reasonable disassembly behavior.
However, for the 4S store's notice, Ms. Peng said that she did not give a definite reply at that time, and then the 4S store disassembled the vehicle without confirming to herself again, so that there were more possibilities for the vehicle.
With regard to this incident, the after-sales manager of the Mercedes-Benz 4S store said that he had also communicated with Ms. Peng and was finally willing to buy back Ms. Peng's car at the estimated price of 480000 yuan before disassembly and cutting, but all of them were rejected by the owners.
Ms. Peng believes that her car, as a new car, was purchased for only half a year or so. At that time, the price of the new car on arrival was more than 640000 yuan, but now it is equivalent to a loss of nearly 200000 yuan due to minor accidents, which is obviously unacceptable.
Up to now, the two sides have not reached an agreement through consultation, and the 4S store also suggested that Ms. Peng should carry out reasonable and legal protection of her rights through third-party evaluation or legal channels.
Although the 4S store reminds the owner that the vehicle needs to be dismantled when determining the damage of the vehicle, Mercedes-Benz, which boasts a luxury service, should also be dismantled and repaired after repeated confirmation and approval by the owner. After all, in the eyes of consumers, the dismantled vehicle will more or less have an impact on the depreciation rate, so it needs to be carefully considered before it can be confirmed.
