AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)08/23 Report--
Condi Technology Group, a low-speed electric car company that has recently announced its entry into the US market, has a new plan. Condi Technology Group, an electric car maker, said recently that it is trying to build an electric and off-road vehicle manufacturing plant in North America, according to foreign media.
Condi said that by building a plant in North America, it could save transportation costs and tariffs, thus providing lower-cost cars and gaining a foothold in the North American electric car market. Condi is said to be in preliminary negotiations with a number of partners, including local government agencies on the border between the United States and Mexico, but it is still in its early stages, and the negotiations do not necessarily mean that a plant will be built in North America in the future.
The brand Condi is no stranger to Chinese consumers. For a long time in the past, Condi electric cars have been active in the car sharing and travel market, occupying the top positions in the domestic electric vehicle rankings. However, Condi electric cars are located at the low end, focusing on the mini electric vehicle market. With the substantial reduction of subsidies for new energy vehicles and the upgrading of industry and consumption, Condi has gradually lost its market position. In 2019, Condi's sales of electric cars in the federation's statistics have been zero.
According to official information, Kangdi Technology Group has been listed on the NASDAQ Stock Exchange in the United States, and its business is managed by its wholly-owned subsidiary Zhejiang Kangdi Automobile Co., Ltd.
According to Condi's plan, two of its electric cars, the Condi K27 and K23, were pre-sold in the US market in August and will be delivered to US consumers in the fourth quarter of 2020.
Among them, the Condi K27 positioning mini electric car, with four doors and four seats, is equipped with 17.69 kWh lithium batteries, a comprehensive mileage of 100mph, a maximum motor power of 20kW and a maximum speed of 101km/h. The Condi K27 sells for $19999 in the United States and $12999 (about 90600 yuan) after deducting the federal tax credit.
The Condi K23, which has a larger body, is priced at $29999 in the United States and $22499 (156900 yuan) after deducting the federal tax credit. Condi K23 styling design is more unique, and even has a sense of science fiction, whether consumers accept this appearance can only vary from person to person. The car is equipped with a 10-inch touch screen and a 41.4 kWh ternary lithium battery with a mileage of 180 miles, a maximum motor power of 21 kilowatts and a top speed of 112km/h.
The two electric cars will be sold through Condi's wholly owned US subsidiary and will initially be sold in the Dallas-Fort worth metropolitan area. Hu Xiaoming, chairman of Condi Technology, said that the new K23 and K27 models will open up a new world of modern transportation for the vast American middle class, but for these middle classes, there is a shortage of options for electric cars. Condi has always wanted to bring the benefits of electric cars to the mass market.
It is not known whether Chinese-branded "low-speed electric cars" will be recognized by American consumers. But Condi, a low-speed electric car brand, expanded aggressively in North America and caused a lot of controversy on the Internet after Chinese brands delayed their plans to enter the North American or European market.
