Among them, the domestic CC hunting car is the travel version of CC, as a new model will be put into production in FAW-Volkswagen Changchun factory.

On August 24th, FAW-Volkswagen officially announced that the new CC hunting car was officially put into production, and the new car will go on sale in November. The so-called hunting version (Shooting Brake) can be directly understood as more advanced, more sports station wagons, including Porsche Panamera, Mercedes-Benz CLS also have corresponding hunting version models.

The new CC hunting car continues the exterior design of the current CC hatchback. In terms of appearance, the new CC hunting truck uses a large area horizontal chrome-plated grille design, and the L-shaped daily lights running through the front face are connected to the grille to form a whole, which further broadens the visual effect of the front face. Because it is a cross-border travel version, the new car has added black anti-friction panels at the front lip, wheel arch, side skirt and rear bumper, as well as improved ground clearance.

From the side point of view, the rear design of the uplift is the most prominent feature of the hunting truck. The new car starts from the B-pillar and the roof line continues to the rear of the car and integrates with the trunk, which better reflects the hunting style of Shooting Brake and increases the interior space. It is said that the new CC hunting car will have a trunk capacity of 565L, and the second row of seats will be expanded to 1632L when put down.

In terms of the rear, the hunting version has a small spoiler at the rear as embellishment, and the exhaust adopts a two-sided styling design, while a chrome trim is used for decoration to highlight the visual effect of the new car.

In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new CC hunting car are 4869/1870/1459mm, and the wheelbase is also 2841mm. The new car is available in different shapes with 18-inch 19-inch rims.

In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a 2.0T (low / high) engine with a maximum output of 186 horsepower and 22 horsepower, a peak torque of 320 Nm and 350 Nm respectively, and a seven-speed double-clutch gearbox.

At present, the official guiding price of FAW-Volkswagen CC is 24.68-301800 yuan, so it is estimated that the starting price of the new CC hunting car is not less than 250000 yuan. From a market point of view, the original hatchback version of CC in FAW-Volkswagen internal sales proportion is not high, monthly sales of more than 2000 units, and the new CC hunting car positioning is higher, and the product is a smaller "station wagon", so it can be expected that the market prospect of the car will not be too optimistic.

There is a view that the domestic CC hunting car to achieve volume will be very difficult, but also a popular model, may be doomed to poor sales. The significance of its existence is to improve the image of the Volkswagen brand and let Volkswagen take the lead in occupying a small share of the domestic station wagon market.
