The new Audi A3 will be available in both hatchback and hatchback versions, and its appearance styles are also available in standard and S-line versions.

The appearance of the new car basically continues the latest design of the overseas edition, and its huge front middle net adopts honeycomb shape, the shape of the headlamp group changes obviously, and the recognition is further improved after lighting. The hatchback version is further lengthened after being made in China, and the tail is longer. At present, there are no size parameters of the car, but it can be expected that the overall size is much larger than that of the previous generation A3 hatchback version. In addition, the rear logo of the hatchback version has been changed to "A3L", so the product characteristics of the car can be determined.

The new domestic Audi A3 interior still retains the overall features and design details of overseas models, further enhancing the sense of science and technology. The new car is equipped with a 10.1-inch central control screen and a 12.3-inch full LCD dashboard, with significant changes in gear layout and shift design. The new Audi A3 will be the first Audi family model with a new electronic shift lever, which makes the layout under the center console extremely simple.

In terms of power, the pre-launch model is expected to still carry the familiar 1.4T engine, with a maximum output of 150 horsepower (110 kilowatts), and the gearbox is in the form of a seven-speed double clutch. As the 1.5T engine codenamed EA211evo has been confirmed to be domestically produced in 2023, there is no hope that the new Audi A3 and the new Golf will match the new engine in recent years.

According to Audi's development plan in China, the Audi brand plans to launch seven more localized models over the next five years as it speeds up product upgrading, doubling sales in the Chinese market to 1.2 million vehicles by 2025. The launch of a number of new products will also help Audi's sales in China, which is already lower than its other German rivals Mercedes-Benz and BMW.
