(BHSS), an auto parts supplier, and employees can enjoy a 65% discount for buying new cars from SAIC-Volkswagen.

Compared with the market terminal price, the 65% discount SAIC-Volkswagen products are also attractive enough. It is worth noting that the document shows that SAIC-Volkswagen gives a discount of 18% per cent for internal car purchases, while BHSS, as a supplier, gives large subsidies to almost all vehicles purchased by its employees, and the discount for car purchases goes to 35 per cent, which is also a good employee benefit.

For example, for the two fashionable models of SAIC-Volkswagen Lang Yi (the previous generation Lang Yi), SAIC-Volkswagen gives a discount of 24% to 25% on the activity price, and the supplier BHSS directly gives a 35% discount, so the actual price enjoyed by BHSS employees for buying cars has been reduced to 65900 yuan to 73700 yuan.

The new Tuguan L 2020 also enjoys a 65% discount. Among them, the manufacturer's guiding price of the 280TSI panoramic comfort version is 223300 yuan, SAIC Volkswagen gives a 27% discount, BHSS subsidizes the car purchase discount to 35%, and the actual purchase price for employees is 145100 yuan. On the other hand, the flagship national six model of Tuguan L 330TSI R-Line, which sells for 271300 yuan, is finally subsidized by BHSS employees for 176300 yuan.

In terms of the price of the Passat, the domestic purchase price of the lowest-equipped 280TSI business version is 121800 yuan after a 6.5% discount, while the highest-equipped flagship version of 380TSI has gone up to 183900 yuan after subsidy, which is far below the market price.

While SAIC-Volkswagen's flagship car, Huieng, the official guiding price of 2.0T model is 34.15-487500 yuan. After enjoying a 65% discount within BHSS, the purchase price of BHSS employees is reduced to 22. 2-316900 yuan.

As a parts supplier, it is not surprising to launch preferential sales activities of customer products internally, but the strength of its large subsidies has been the envy of many peers.

According to official information, Bosch Huayu steering system Co., Ltd. was officially put into production and opened in September 1996. it is a joint venture between Robert Bosch Automotive steering Systems Co., Ltd. (51% shares) and Huayu Automotive Systems Co., Ltd. (49% shares). The company has a combined sales of 11.39 billion yuan in 2019. The company is engaged in the development, production, assembly and sales of automotive steering systems and key components, and its customers mainly cover Volkswagen, General Motors, Geely, Shangqi passenger cars, Mercedes-Benz, Honda and other vehicle factories.

It is worth noting that Huayu Automotive Systems Co., Ltd. is a domestic listed company of neutral auto parts, with a total of 31 direct investment enterprises and about 80,000 employees. The controlling shareholder is Shanghai Automobile Group Co., Ltd., with a shareholding ratio of 58.32%.

Some netizens believe that the large subsidies within suppliers mainly push SAIC-Volkswagen products, on the one hand, reflect employee welfare, and on the other hand, it may also be used as a supplier to help manufacturers digest vehicles. The market performance of SAIC-Volkswagen continues to be depressed in 2020, and even if the auto market recovers quickly after the epidemic, SAIC-Volkswagen has not yet achieved monthly sales. According to the data, SAIC-Volkswagen sold 134000 vehicles in July, down 7.65% from the same period last year, which is the only decline among mainstream joint venture car companies. From January to July this year, SAIC-Volkswagen sold 711385 vehicles, a decline of 33.15%. It is also the biggest decline among mainstream joint venture car companies.
