Reasons for recall:

For some vehicles within the scope of this recall, due to the suppliers' use of airbag materials that were not released in accordance with the normal process, the driver's knee airbag may not be able to meet the specifications, and the protection function of the knee airbag may be affected, increasing the risk of injury to the occupants in the vehicle collision accident, resulting in safety risks.

Solution:

Beijing Mercedes-Benz Automobile Co., Ltd. will replace the driver's knee airbags free of charge for vehicles within the scope of the recall to eliminate safety risks.
