According to the latest news report, the model is expected to make its domestic debut at the Beijing Auto Show. At the same time, the new car will be introduced into China in the form of imports and may be localized in Changan Ford in the future.

Although the new car will be unveiled at the Beijing auto show, in fact, Ford Mach-E made its global debut at the Los Angeles auto show as early as 2019, but the Beijing auto show will be the domestic "first show" of the model.

As Ford's first electric model, the Ford Mach-E did not use the LOGO of the traditional model, but chose the same "Mustang" LOGO, a classic Mustang sports car that sold more than 10 million vehicles, and continued the appearance of the Mustang.

In appearance, the new car has a lot of traditional Mustang curves and elements, such as a raised engine top cover, muscular lines on the side, and the classic three-lamp design, which makes people recognize it as an Mustang at a glance.

On the side of the body, Mach-E uses the rare back-slip design of this level, with a segmented waistline design, which makes the visual effect of the whole body more slim. On the tail side, the taillights of the classic three longitudinal lines are retained, and the interior is equipped with the design of flow lights.

As for the interior decoration, Mach-E takes the simple style, and the center console uses a through-type air outlet, which further reflects the simple style. In addition, it is equipped with a multi-functional three-spoke steering wheel, a 15.5-inch vertical central control touch screen and a full liquid crystal instrument, which adds a lot of technology to the interior.

In terms of power, the Mach-E is divided into standard and long-life versions according to different batteries, both of which can be powered by permanent magnet motors in rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Official figures show that the new car has a range of 370km to 480km in EPA, while the maximum mileage in NEDC is 600km.

It is understood that Mach-E as a medium-sized pure electric SUV, after entering China, the main competitors will be locked into Tesla Model Y and Xilai EC6. Although the Model-Y model has not yet achieved mass production, but through the performance of the first domestic Tesla model, Model Y model after the domestic market performance may be good.

The localization of production in Changan Ford in the future will help Ford to further expand the market, but as more multinational car companies such as Volkswagen pour into the new energy market, Mach-E will also face more challenges.
