Earlier, Toyota registered LEXUS LM350 and LEXUS LM 300h trademarks in China, or represented that Lexus LM will be introduced into China in two models. At present, Lexus vehicles are divided into cars (ES, GS, LS, IS, CT), SUV (UX, NX, LX) and sports cars (RC, LC), with new MPV (LM).

From the official preview map, you can see that Lexus LM's side styling is basically the same as the current Toyota Elfa, and the new car's forward-leaning B-pillar has a high degree of recognition. The front face is Lexus family-style spindle grille design, L-shaped LED daytime running lights are also consistent with Lexus.

The upgrade from Toyota to Lexus means that the LM car series tends to be more luxurious than Elfa, interior and other aspects.

As a reference in terms of power, the current Elfa is equipped with a 3.5L naturally aspirated V6 engine with a maximum power of 300 hp and a peak torque of 361 N·m. It matches an 8-speed manual self-contained gearbox and will also launch a hybrid version.

Toyota Elfa basically monopolizes the high-end MPV market, generally increases the price by about 30, the landing price exceeds one million, so far no other models threaten his market position. Perhaps Toyota sees this steady stream of dividends and launches a more advanced Lexus LM, which will then be popular with domestic consumers, raising prices or being more ruthless than Elfa.
