As the first production model of Skyline, Skyline ME7 is positioned as a pure electric SUV. The appearance adopts the brand's new design language. The middle of the polygonal fully enclosed grille is the sky car brand LOGO, and the upper part is the through-type lamp belt connected with the headlights on both sides. The fog lamp modeling on both sides also echoes the brand LOGO. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4685/1970/1660mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2830 mm.

Skyline ME7 interior features an enclosed design, with three large size screens in the central control area, including a 12.3-inch LCD dashboard, a 15.6-inch central touch screen and a 12.3-inch co-driver entertainment screen, as well as two 12.8-inch LCD screens in the rear seats. In terms of configuration, the new car is equipped with Face Recognition, 3D UI, L2.5 driving assistance system, including ACC adaptive cruise, APA automatic parking, AEB active emergency braking and other functions.

In terms of power, Skyline ME7 is equipped with a Bosch permanent magnet synchronous motor with maximum power of 170kW and maximum torque of 330N·m. The NDEC comprehensive range can reach 410km and 530km respectively.

According to the data, Tianji Automobile, founded on June 23,2015, formerly known as Zhejiang Car-making Enterprise Electric Coffee Automobile, is one of the investment projects of Letv Automobile upstream and downstream of the automobile industry chain.

In 2017, when LeEco's capital chain broke down, Jia Yueting emptied his 35% stake in LeEco, and Zhang Hailiang, then CEO of LeEco, took it down as chairman. Since then, more than 100 of LeEco's team of about 800 people in China have followed it to Skycar.

On December 28,2019, Skyline Auto's first production car ME7 was launched in Shaoxing. Skyline Auto announced at that time that it had received 8000 orders and was expected to be officially delivered in the first quarter of 2020. However, due to delayed delivery due to the epidemic situation, it was not officially launched until today.

According to previous reports, another production car, the small SUV ME5, is currently in the PT car (mold assembly vehicle) assembly stage, and is expected to carry out SOP (small batch production) at the end of May next year at the Changsha factory of Skyline Automobile. According to Skyline's plan at the end of last year, the company will launch new cars at a rate of one model per year at the beginning of its development, and then accelerate to reach its goal of eight new cars in five years.

In 2020, the new forces of car building will face the reshuffle of life and death. In terms of product strength of Skyline ME7, there is not much market competitiveness. In the price range of 200,000 - 300,000 yuan, Xiaopeng P7, BYD Han and domestic Tesla Model 3 are the top products in this field, among which the domestic Tesla Model 3 has achieved "monopoly" with monthly sales of more than 10,000 vehicles.
