On September 20, Dongfeng Honda officially announced the price of the "enjoy sharp hybrid" model, the new car launched a total of four models, the manufacturer's guiding price range is 13.99-166900 yuan. Compared with the price of GAC Toyota Leiling 1.8L hybrid model, the price range of the latter is 13.38-152800 yuan, so the pricing of the hybrid is relatively high.

Hengwei is a compact car launched by Dongfeng Honda last year, which costs 9.98 yuan to 136800 yuan, which can be regarded as a sister model of Ling Pai. In terms of appearance, the hybrid is consistent with the fuel version on sale, except in details, including the HYBRID logo on the front fender and the blue embellished logo. In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4756/1804/1509mm and the wheelbase is 2730mm.

The interior design of the new car also refers to the layout of the fuel version, which is equipped with a 7-inch LCD dashboard and an 8-inch central control screen, and the shift is replaced by the button design commonly used in Honda hybrid models. In terms of configuration, it provides skylight, one-button start, tire pressure monitoring, back row exclusive table and so on, which is basically the same as the fuel version.

The biggest difference between the hybrid version and the fuel version is in terms of power. the new car is equipped with a 1.5L hybrid system with a maximum engine power of 109hp (80kw) and a peak torque of 134N ·m. The maximum power of the whole system can reach 154hp, matched by an E-CVT gearbox. Compared with the fuel version of 1.0T three-cylinder engine with 122 horsepower, the new car has increased power.

The latest figures show that sales of Happy fell 24.98% to 2952 in August 2020, while Ling Pai's sales fell 16.27% to 10804. Although Happy is Ling's sister model, its sales are far behind Ling's.

As a special car in China, the biggest dissatisfaction among consumers may be the three-cylinder engine. For consumers, the matching of four-cylinder engines may be the lower limit of the car system. Other car companies have also proved that it is difficult to promote the three-cylinder engine in the context of the increasing maturity of Chinese consumers' choice and purchase of automobile products. In this new product, the enjoy domain sharp hybrid model is equipped with 1.5L gas-electric hybrid system, as to whether it can move domestic consumers, the key lies in the price. The two models launched by Toyota are good reference models for the hybrid version of the joint venture compact sedan, while Dongfeng Honda's sharp hybrid to enter the market at a higher price may not really impress consumers.
