According to news and videos released by several netizens, a woman was covered and taken away by a number of staff on the booth with black cloth after a riot on the booth, and a large number of people gathered around the scene during the incident. In addition, it can be seen from the pictures and video background that the incident happened at the Geely car booth.

At present, the cause of the incident is not clear, Geely did not respond to the incident.

According to official sources, September 26 and 27 is the Media Day of the Beijing Auto Show, which only receives scheduled and invited media reporters to visit and interview, and does not sell visit tickets to the public. Therefore, the occurrence of the above bizarre events may not involve the problem of car owners.

A number of Geely models were unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show, including the official launch of the brand new car Geely Xingrui, which is based on CMA architecture and is equipped with Volvo Drive-E series 2.0TD engines, which will be launched this year.

Geely, one of the independent head car companies, has risen significantly this year, but Geely's road to expansion has also been hit as market competition intensifies. Geely had proposed to meet its target of selling 2 million vehicles a year by 2020, then reduced it to 1.41 million, and lowered its target to 1.32 million in August.

In August 2020, Geely sold 113400 vehicles, up 12% from the same period last year, achieving five consecutive months of year-on-year sales growth, while Geely's total sales from January to August were 749100, down 11% from the same period last year. Geely achieved 56.75% of Geely's revised sales target of 1.32 million vehicles for 2020.
