Some time ago, Changan Mazda 3 Unksera and CX-30 compression ignition version officially launched, as Mazda compression ignition engine in China for the first time, the two models are priced at 189900 yuan and 199900 yuan respectively. This price is "persuaded to reduce the price" for many consumers, but there is no final conclusion on the compression ignition version of the model. After all, there are many possibilities for compression ignition technology. If there is an obvious increase or advantage in all aspects, then even a slightly higher price is acceptable.

Recently, the domestic well-known automobile website carried on the performance test to the Mazda CX-30, the test result proved that the Mazda compression ignition version not only the price is slightly higher, but also the performance is average.

Under the accelerated test, the tire skidded slightly in the initial stage of the Mazda CX-30, and after the tire regained grip, the acceleration process became commonplace, and the final 0-100km/h accelerated test result was 10.49s. Under the fuel consumption test, the final test mileage was 103.2km, the fuel consumption was 7.26L, the air conditioner was on, and the temperature was controlled at 22 ℃. Finally, the fuel consumption score of 7.0L/100km was obtained.

Judging from this result, it is indeed a bit disappointing. After all, the measured 100km acceleration time of the normal 2.0L version of the Mazda CX-30 is 10.31s (all the test versions are top models). In other words, the price of the compression-ignition version of the Mazda CX-30 becomes higher, but its performance becomes worse, and the advantage of fuel consumption compared with the same class model is not obvious.

Mazda CX-30 officially went on sale on May 28 this year, with an instruction price of 12.99-171900 yuan, a 2.0L naturally aspirated engine, a maximum power of 158hp and a peak torque of 202N ·m. The Mazda CX-30 compression ignition version was officially launched on September 16, with a guiding price of 199900 yuan, equipped with a newly created blue sky SKYACTIV-X 2.0L engine, maximum power of 180hp and peak torque of 224N ·m.

Judging from the parameters of the official propaganda, the compression ignition version has improved a lot compared with the ordinary version, but from the test results, this is not the case. when the price difference is as high as 28000 yuan, the performance and fuel consumption of the ordinary version is almost even with the ordinary version. So will consumers still choose the compression-ignition version?

Mazda is a Japanese carmaker, first founded in 1920, this year marks the 100th anniversary of Mazda's founding. However, the current performance of Mazda in the domestic market is not satisfactory, and can even be described as miserable.

According to official data, Mazda's cumulative sales in 2019 were 227750, down 16.37% from a year earlier; and from January to August 2020, Mazda's cumulative car sales were 132407, down 6.18% from a year earlier.

In terms of models, the Mazda models with high sales in China are Mazda 3 Uncaila, CX-4 and CX-5. Of the cumulative sales in the first eight months, Mazda 3 Oncella accounted for 53200, while CX-4 and CX-5 accounted for 31000 and 21000, respectively. In addition, the highly anticipated CX-30 did not appear in the sales rankings, with only 1999 CX-30 sold in August.

Previously, Accord, Camry, Teana and Atez were also known as "Japanese four brothers". Sales of Accord and Camry are still fierce. Although Teana is not as good as Accord and Camry, monthly sales are basically maintained at about 8500 vehicles. Atz sold about 6000 vehicles a month at its peak, but due to the abnormal noise problem, its current monthly sales remained at about 2000. Previously, when Mazda's official website released the data, the Atz was at the top of the list, but currently there is no Attaz in the top three models.

Atez provides a warning to Mazda that it is not impossible for sales to continue to decline when product quality problems occur frequently but are not resolved. At the critical moment of a hundred years of development, Mazda should really take a good look at the problems in its development, whether it is product service or product development.
