Just after September, NIO and ideal, as the new power of the car company, released the latest sales figures on the same day. Of course, the two car companies are eager to report sales, but also on the premise of encouraging results, sales rose sharply in September, both hit record highs since delivery.

According to official data from Xilai, a total of 4708 new cars were delivered in September, an increase of 133.2% over the same period last year, setting a new record for brand delivery in a single month, and has achieved year-on-year growth for seven consecutive months since March. A total of 26375 units were delivered in 2020, and the delivery volume in the first three quarters exceeded that of last year.

Specifically, after the delivery of EC6, a new member of the Lai ES6 series, ES6 and EC6 delivered a total of 3226 units this month, of which the monthly delivery volume of ES6 exceeded 3000 for the first time, which means that Lai EC6 may still be in the period of climbing, while Lailai ES8 delivered 1482 units, up 31.7% from the previous month, maintaining a clear growth momentum.

During the epidemic in the first half of 2020, restrictions on market activity and car consumption, coupled with the downturn in the new energy sector, led to a sharp decline in car sales. However, since gradually getting rid of the impact of the epidemic in the second quarter and the rapid recovery of sales by many car companies, Xilai has returned to the height of the same period since March and doubled in April, which can be said to be a positive trend for Xilai.

Looking back at the full-year sales of Xilai this year, sales declined only in July after the recovery of the epidemic, and there were also "bottlenecks" in industry analysis. however, with the launch of EC6 in July, it has helped the brand to further boost sales. Although EC6 is currently the worst-selling model, with monthly sales of only about 200 units, it has also become one of the reasons for the brand's record high.

Although it has been revealed that the fourth model of NIO will be its sedan model, the launch will certainly help the brand achieve higher sales, but it is not expected to go on sale until at least the end of next year. Therefore, for the current Ulai models, the main growth point is still the ES6 model.

By contrast, sales of an ideal car for just one model in September are getting closer to those of the first few months, and the ideal delivery of a new car is significantly later than Wei.

According to the latest data from ideal car, ideal ONE delivered 3504 vehicles in September, an increase of 29.3% over August. This is the third month in a row that ideal ONE has achieved a month-on-month increase in delivery volume. From January to September 2020, ideal ONE delivered a total of 18160 vehicles, of which 8660 were delivered in the third quarter, an increase of 31.1% over the second quarter.

Relying only on a single model will gradually catch up with Wei Wei, and surpass the strong cars and Weimar cars in previous years, which is also the reason why the outside world is generally optimistic about the ideal. Although the ideal car has encountered frequent incidents of "wheel shedding" in the past month, it is still recognized by many consumers to help the brand improve. After all, consumers who choose the ideal car are mostly recommended by car owners.

Of course, the development of a single model alone does not seem to be enough to help the brand achieve greater sales. According to a picture of "ideal automobile product line planning" exposed by the media earlier, ideal will launch a number of more models, including the upcoming ideal ONE, all of which are located in SUV models, covering medium-sized SUV, large-scale 6-seat SUV and medium-and large-sized 6-seat SUV models priced at 20-400000 yuan, further exploring the brand threshold in order to enrich the product array and help brands to enhance their market competitiveness.

For the two new power car companies that are the first to announce their sales performance, the increase in sales not only reflects the domestic new energy vehicle market, which has gradually picked up since the second half of the year, but also proves that the proportion of new energy models for individual users is increasing.
