As a British luxury brand, Jaguar is not very popular in the domestic market, and its interior design is also frequently complained by consumers. At present, Jaguar has three domestic models in China, namely, the XEL, XFL and E-PACE. Even though the mainstream models are localized, Jaguar's sales in China have not improved much. Today, with the arrival of new models, the appearance and interior of Jaguar have been greatly adjusted.

A few days ago, Jaguar officially released the official map of the mid-term revamped Jaguar XF family. The new car has made great adjustments to its appearance and interior on the basis of the old model, making it more in line with the current style as a whole. At the same time, the new car adopts a new generation of electrified architecture and adds a hybrid system.

The new Jaguar XF will continue to launch two models, the hatchback version and the travel version (Sportbrake), and the new design layout will also be introduced into domestic models in the future.

The current Jaguar XF, the second-generation model of the series, with an internal code name X260, finally ushered in a medium-term change five years after it went on the market. From the official picture of the new Jaguar XF R-Dynamic model released this time, the new car uses a new all-LED headlamp group structure, double J daytime driving lights outline four headlights design, and the intake grille uses a chrome-plated matrix design, which makes the whole look younger.

The side shape of the new Jaguar XF remains unchanged, only on the front fender trim. The internal lamp cavity structure of the taillight group is optimized on the tail, and a brand-new four-lamp group design is presented through the LED light source. In addition, the new car has redesigned the rear bumper and bottom spoiler, and the hidden exhaust design has replaced the old bilateral two-way exhaust layout.

The travel version of the Sportbrake model has also been optimized, continuing the front design of the hatchback and the standard style of the station wagon at the rear, which has also been changed in terms of lamp sets.

This change mainly reflects the interior design. Thanks to the new EVA 2.0 electronic architecture, Jaguar optimizes the central console layout of the new XF, which is equipped with a suspended touch screen with a size of 11.4in; the new electronic shift lever replaces the knob replacement mechanism that has been used for many years; at the same time, the design of air outlets with rotatable concealed air conditioners on both sides is cancelled, and the through air outlet design with wider visual effect is adopted.

In addition, the new car has upgraded the latest sports multi-purpose steering wheel, with a smaller central airbag structure and a brand new aluminum alloy shift pick.

In terms of power, the new Jaguar XF family offers a new light hybrid diesel power system (MHEV) in the European market, with a 2.0T diesel engine and motor combination, with a maximum output of 204hp and a peak torque of 430Nm. As for gasoline engines, it continues to provide Ingenium 2.0T gasoline engines, with a maximum output of 250hp and 300hp respectively after different adjustments. In terms of transmission, it will be matched by an 8-speed manual self-integrated gearbox with an optional four-wheel drive version.

Jaguar XF's main competitors are BMW 5-Series, Audi A6, Volvo S90 and other medium and large cars, which are expected to increase the popularity of the market to some extent with the introduction of new models in the future. As a reference, the official guiding price of domestic Jaguar XFL is 37.58-578800 yuan. Of course, the construction of brand and word-of-mouth is still the direction that Jaguar needs to continue to work in the Chinese market.
