Recently, however, there is news that the cooperation between the two sides is coming to an end, which means that BAIC will not be able to enjoy the "export" of Mercedes-Benz technology.

According to enterprise information, the equity of BAIC Deben has changed recently, and Mercedes-Benz Technology has withdrawn from the joint venture. BAIC Deben is 100% wholly-owned by Beijing Automobile Co., Ltd., and increases its capital to 69.025316 million yuan on the basis of the original registered capital of 10 million yuan.

At the same time, from the day of the industrial and commercial change, the directors (directors), managers and supervisors of BAIC Deben, and all senior executives with foreign investment have all withdrawn, and Zhang Zuyuan has been added as a supervisor. At this point, all the executive boards, boards of supervisors, directors, general managers and supervisors of BAIC Deben are all Chinese.

Data show that BAIC de Ben Technology Center is the abbreviation of Beijing BAIC de Ben Automotive Technology Center Co., Ltd., which was established by Beijing Automobile Co., Ltd. (BAIC) and MBtech Group (Mercedes-Benz Technology Group) in 2015, with an equity ratio of 51:49. The company is headquartered in Beijing and has set up an office in Stuttgart, Germany, covering automotive engineering, manufacturing engineering, forward-looking technology research and application.

It is like the "Pan-Asian Automotive Technology Center" jointly established by the famous SAIC Group and General Motors Group. Through deepening cooperation between BAIC and Daimler, we will carry out vehicle design, development of new energy models and application of forward-looking technology for BAIC's high-end models. Further enhance BAIC's independent brand product strength, enhance product premium capacity, and enhance brand image. Unlike the former, Fanya provides product development for international brands, while BAIC Deben fully serves Chinese brands and provides professional technical services for Chinese brands.

Just like the current BAIC BJ90 model, this model is the flagship model of Beijing Automobile Co., Ltd. on the autonomous off-road vehicle sector. the whole car is designed by BAIC, but it is actually built by the previous generation of Mercedes-Benz GLS, with a price as high as 69.80-998000 yuan.

The whole interior design also reveals a lot of Mercedes-Benz design elements, the most important of which is that Beijing BJ90 is "Mercedes-Benz core". In terms of power, the car is powered by 3.0T and 4.0T engines provided by Mercedes-Benz. In terms of transmission, both engines match the 9-speed manual self-integrated gearbox and are equipped with a full-time all-wheel drive system. In addition, Mercedes-Benz also licensed the previous generation E-class V212 platform and the core technology of the front and rear axles to BAIC.

However, for the suspension of the current cooperation between the two sides, the development of BAIC will be affected, or maybe the future BAIC brand models will not be able to enjoy the "export" of Mercedes-Benz technology, relying only on independent research and development. After all, BAIC, which relies on Mercedes-Benz technology, has not achieved more advantages in the five years since the establishment of the joint venture.

Data show that the cumulative sales of Beijing vehicles from January to August this year are 33156, with an average monthly sales of just over 4000; Beijing's cross-country sales are 10006; and Beijing Automobile Factory's cumulative sales from January to August are only 3432. As a state-owned enterprise with a history of 55 years, it can only rely on a single joint venture company to achieve market profits.
