The circular said that in order to further standardize the activities of new energy vehicles going to the countryside, entrusted by the three ministries and commissions, the China Automobile Association conducted a comprehensive evaluation of signing up to participate in the activities and models of new energy vehicles in the countryside in terms of enterprise brand awareness, this year's sales and other aspects. On the basis of the first two batches of existing lists, the second batch of enterprises and models involved in the activities of new energy vehicles to the countryside will be issued.

The first batch of new energy vehicles to the countryside list of a total of 16 models, including BAIC New Energy EC3, Great Wall Euler R1 and IQ, Changan Mercedes-Benz E-star, BYD yuan, E1, E2, E3 and other new energy models The second batch of new energy vehicles are listed in the countryside with a total of 36 models, including Wuling Hongguang Electric vehicle, Baojun E300, BYD S2, Oshanio, Crossing X1EV, Kairui K60EV, Wilmaster EX5, SAIC Roewe Ei5, Reading i3, i5, Fengshen E70, Qichen E30 and so on.

According to the China Automobile Association, domestic sales of new energy vehicles rose 67.7% year-on-year to 138000 units in September 2020, and cumulative sales fell 17.7% to 734000 units from January to September.

At present, although the production and sales of new energy vehicles become positive smoothly, the growth rate of new energy vehicles has slowed down due to the impact of the overall domestic car market environment.
