On October 25th, Beijing Hyundai's seventh generation Elantra went on the market with an official guidance price of 9.98-141800 yuan, providing 1.5L+CVT and 1.4T+7 speed dual clutch gearbox powertrain.

Although the Elantra, as a compact car under Hyundai, is one of the main volume models in the Hyundai brand. The Elantra was first launched in 1990 and has been updated to the seventh generation according to the rhythm of a five-year change. However, Beijing Hyundai Elantra stopped production after only two generations of replacement, and the leading model is on sale as an alternative model in China.

In appearance, the seventh generation Elantra adopted the "parametric dynamics design concept", continuing the family design style, which formed numerous wedge-shaped elements through segmented geometry, making the appearance of the new car more severe. In fact, at present, in addition to leading models on sale in China, Beijing Hyundai also has another compact model, Festa, for sale, and the overall design of the new generation of Elantra also tends to the design of Festa. However, as Korean brands have been squeezed by independent brands and mainstream joint venture brands in China, the return of Elantra is more of a sign that Beijing Hyundai wants to use Elantra's "history" to revive sales.

The situation of Hyundai in Beijing this year is even more unoptimistic, with cumulative sales of Hyundai in Beijing falling 31.6% from January to September compared with the same period last year to 350000 vehicles, according to data from the Federation of passengers.
