Nissan (China) Investment Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration, recalling some imported Infiniti QX60 cars.

Recalled models: a total of 939 Infiniti QX60 vehicles were imported from March 5, 2019 to July 10, 2019.

The reason for the recall: some vehicles within the scope of the recall caused the CVT tubing to be reversed due to the supplier's operation, and the direction was not up to standard, resulting in stress in the tubing. With the use of the vehicle CVT oil pipe may be damaged, in extreme cases, the CVT oil may spatter on the exhaust manifold, there is a risk of fire, there is a safety risk.

Solution: Nissan (China) Investment Co., Ltd. will launch the recall program from November 10, 2020. through Dongfeng Infiniti Automobile Co., Ltd. to check the direction of the CVT tubing for the vehicles within the recall area, and replace the new tubing free of charge if there is an error, in order to eliminate safety risks.
