Geely has another new car on the market. On November 1, Geely Xingrui officially launched a compact car based on the CMA architecture of Geely. This time, it launched a total of four equipped models with an guiding price of 11.37-149700 yuan.

From the design point of view, Xingrui continues the design elements of Geely PREFACE concept car, with high recognition of straight waterfall intake grille, shield-shaped front grille with sharp headlight group design, strong sports atmosphere. The side of the body is designed with a slippery back, and a chrome-plated decorative strip at the tail is connected to the headlights on both sides, with oval bilateral exhaust. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car is 4785/1869/1469mm, and the wheelbase is 2800mm, which is between Dihao GL and Borey.

Xingrui adopts a two-color design in the interior design, equipped with a 12.3-inch LCD instrument and a 12.3-inch suspended central control screen, and cancels a large number of physical buttons, making the overall visual effect more concise. In terms of configuration, Xingrui is equipped with pre-collision warning, pedestrian identification, blind area monitoring, speed limit information reminder, lane maintenance assistance and so on.

In terms of power, the 2.0TD engine carried by Geely Xingrui is also used in Volvo S60, Volvo S90, Lecker 03 and other models, with a maximum power of 140kW (190PS) and a maximum torque of 300N ·m, matched with a seven-speed wet double clutch gearbox.

As we all know, the joint venture brand has always had obvious advantages in the car market, the mainstream car models in the market basically come from the joint venture brand, and the top ten models sold per month basically come from the joint venture brand. However, in recent years, independent brands have also developed rapidly in the car market, including Geely, Changan, Red Flag and other brands have joined the mainstream car camp, launched Dihao, Yitou, Red Flag H5 and other models. Geely's latest Xingrui model, with the blessing of Volvo technology, is also a big selling point of the car.

As Geely's first car based on CMA architecture, its wheelbase has reached the level of a medium-sized car, coupled with a 2.0T Volvo engine, Xingrui's market competitiveness has improved significantly.

Geely car sales rose 11.0 per cent to 126365 in September and fell 8.63 per cent to 875472 in the first three quarters, according to the data. Although the overall sales are still unable to become regular, but the performance is better than the market level.

In August, Geely lowered its annual target to 1.32 million. As of September, Geely had achieved 66 per cent of its annual sales target of 1.32 million vehicles.
