The 2021 Yuehu was renamed from the previous S1 model, which is positioned as a pure electric small SUV. The front face of Yuehu adopts the iconic closed front grille of new energy vehicle model, and the split headlight design is adopted on both sides. The upper lamp strip is narrow and long, and the lower headlight area is large, so the overall recognition degree is relatively high. In terms of size, the length, width and height of Yuehu are 3695/1685/1595 mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2410 mm.

In terms of power, Yuehu two two-wheel drive models adopt front-mounted single-motor layout, with maximum power of 62kw, peak torque of 220N·m, and range of 255km and 300km of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Yuehu four-wheel drive version adopts dual-motor layout. The maximum power of front motor is 62kw, peak torque is 220N·m, the maximum power of rear motor is 6kw, peak torque is 60N·m, and the mileage of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology is 255km.

The other model is Dayun Yuanzhi M1, which is positioned as a pure electric medium-sized MPV. The appearance of the new car adopts straight roof and body lines, and the front grille is also closed design, highlighting the new energy identity. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of Polygala M1 are 4849/1858/1777mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2880 mm.

In terms of power, Yuanzhi M1 is equipped with a motor with a maximum power of 197 horsepower/peak torque of 320 N·m, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has declared a range of 405 kilometers.

The advertisement of "Fengchi Tianxia, Dayun Motorcycle" must still be remembered by many people. Dayun heavy truck, Dayun light truck and Dayun motorcycle are all familiar products to consumers. Data show that Universiade Group was founded in 1987, headquartered in Yuncheng, Shanxi Province, started with motorcycle business, with "Dayang" and "Universiade" two brands. At present, the main business of the group includes commercial vehicles and motorcycles. With the growth of demand for new energy passenger vehicles, Dayun has also announced its entry into the new energy passenger vehicle market. Before this, Universiade Group planned six products and took the lead in launching the above two new cars, thus helping enterprises to enter the new energy passenger car market in the form of new brands.

New energy vehicles are seen as a way to overtake in corners, but they are also an extremely expensive business, and Dayun cars are running for it. In July this year, Dayun Automobile submitted the prospectus for listing on GEM again, and planned to use nearly half of the raised funds of 5.17 billion yuan for capacity expansion of new energy vehicles.

According to the data, the operating income of Dayun Group in recent three years is 8.842 billion yuan, 10.199 billion yuan and 9.676 billion yuan respectively; the net profit is 548 million yuan, 648 million yuan and 450 million yuan respectively. Universiade Group's vehicle sales revenue accounted for 96.9% of the total operating revenue, including heavy trucks, medium trucks, light trucks and other non-new energy vehicle revenue accounted for 81.14%. In the opinion of the industry, most of the funds raised will be bet on pure electric light passenger cars and multi-purpose passenger car projects that do not perform as expected in the market, and their main business heavy, medium and light truck projects "on an equal footing". From the perspective of input and output ratio, such fund allocation is seriously unbalanced.

From commercial vehicles to passenger cars, Dayun Automobile has not yet formed product and brand advantages, and it is not the best time to enter the new energy automobile market. Compared with BYD, Chery, BAIC and the automobile enterprises rooted in the field of new energy vehicles, the development prospects of Yuehu and Yuanzhi M1 released by the "Xinsheng" Dayun brand are not optimistic, among which there are great disadvantages compared with the same class models in terms of mileage.

In addition to product strength, brand recognition is also a hard injury for Dayun Automobile to enter the field of new energy vehicles and passenger cars. When it comes to big luck, many people first think of the slogan of "Fengchi Tianxia, Dayun Motorcycle", and when it comes to brands such as BYD and Beiqi New Energy, it is completely inseparable from new energy vehicles.

Lifan Automobile, which also started as a motorcycle, has entered the stage of bankruptcy reorganization at present, and there is the possibility of bankruptcy. Looking at the accumulation of capital, technology, brand and product power of Universiade Automobile, the sustainable development of its new energy vehicles is worrying.
