It is reported that Toyota will have a number of blockbuster new cars to be released at this auto show, and the RAV4 plug-in version, Ling Shang and the new Hanlanda are all expected to make their debut.

FAW Toyota RAV4 plug-in hybrid version will be put into production in Changchun plant, the overall design of the new car basically continues the fuel version of the shape, but slightly adjusted in the details. Among them, the front grille uses a black mesh style, the visual effect is more hard, and the fog lamp area on both sides of the bumper uses LED light source. In addition, the blue Toyota logo at the front is a typical symbol of the brand's hybrid models.

In terms of interior decoration, the new car is basically consistent with the fuel version, and only the UI interface of the dashboard and LCD screen has been redesigned.

In terms of power, the Toyota RAV4 plug-in version is equipped with a hybrid system composed of a 2.5L Atkinson cycle engine and a motor. Among them, the maximum power of 2.5L engine is 178 horsepower, plus electric motor, the comprehensive power is as high as 306 horsepower (225 kW), and the acceleration time of 100 kilometers is 5.8 seconds. The official fuel consumption is 2.6L/100km, the battery life of pure electric is 63km, and it will also be equipped with four-wheel drive system.

Ling Shang

GAC Toyota announced earlier that its new TNGA car, officially named "Ling Shang", will make its debut at this year's auto show. The new car locates the A + class sedan, which is between Lei Ling and Camry.

The new model is a "special model" developed under the Toyota TNGA framework. In order to adapt to the buying habits of Chinese consumers, the wheelbase of the car is 2750mm, which is longer than the 2700mm wheelbase of the ordinary version of Leiling.

In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with the same 2.0L naturally aspirated engine as the Camry. With reference to Camry's power performance, the engine has the maximum power of 131kw and peak torque of 210N ·m, and the power output of the new car may be adjusted. The transmission system matches the CVT gearbox.

Brand new Hanlanda.

The domestic model of the brand-new generation of Hanlanda is expected to go on sale in the first half of next year and will make its debut at this auto show as soon as possible. Prior to this, the domestic real car map of the brand new Hanlanda has been exposed online.

The new generation of Hanlanda model is the fourth generation of the car series, the new car is based on Toyota TNGA-K platform, the overall outline still continues the classic shape of Hanlanda, the details have been greatly adjusted, and the overall trend is tough style. The upper narrow and lower wide trapezoidal front grille is matched with a blackened middle net and flying wing chrome plating, which increases the recognition of the front face, and the design of the fog lamp area on both sides is also more slender than the current style. In terms of vehicle details, the A-pillar adopts a blackened design, and the side shape is similar to that of the current Hanlanda. The tail uses a slender taillight group, the overall shape is more square. The interior of the new car has also taken on a new look, with a large liquid crystal display screen.

The new domestic Hanlanda will mainly push the hybrid model, using a combination of 2.5L four-cylinder engine and two motors, with a comprehensive power of 240 horsepower, offering two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive options.

In addition to the above-mentioned new cars, Toyota also has the potential to expand in the introduction of new cars, with the product lineup forming more market segments, including the new generation of Sienna (Sena) and the new generation of Harrier (Haiya) will be put into production in Guangzhou Auto Toyota and FAW Toyota respectively.

Toyota sold 175600 vehicles in China in October, up 33.3 per cent from a year earlier, with cumulative sales of 1.438 million vehicles from January to October, reaching its annual target of 1.76 million vehicles. With Toyota's current trend of sustained growth, it should not be difficult to achieve the set goals by the end of the year. As more models are updated and introduced, Toyota's expansion in China will continue.
