Prior to this, Lincoln has introduced two domestic adventurers and pilots, positioning the compact SUV and the medium and large SUV respectively, and the domestic model brought this time may be the "navigator" who locates the medium-sized SUV.

As a matter of fact, Changan Lincoln navigator completed the declaration of the new car as early as May this year, so it can be further confirmed that the third domestic model introduced by officials is the Lincoln navigator.

Since the domestic listing of adventurers and pilots, Lincoln brand sales in China have continued to rise, and as the backbone of luxury brands, medium-sized SUV products, Lincoln has also accelerated the progress of domestic products to further supplement the product line of domestic models. In the future, domestic navigators will compete differently with Audi Q5L, BMW X3, Cadillac XT5 and other models.

According to the previous declaration information, the appearance of domestic navigators follows the design of imported models, but some details will be adjusted. For example, the front enclosure of the new car is different from the imported version currently on sale, and a horizontal penetrating chrome strip is added to the bottom.

In terms of body size, the domestic version is basically unchanged, its length, width and height are 4849/1934/1693mm, wheelbase 2850mm, positioning medium-sized SUV. Previous filings also showed details of different styles of front grille, headlights and rims, and the presidential version (Presidential) may also appear in domestic models as a top match.

In terms of power, the declaration shows that domestic navigators will carry domestic 2.0T four-cylinder engines produced by Changan Ford and imported 2.7T six-cylinder engines produced by Ford Lima engine factory, with a maximum power of 248hp (182kW) and 325hp (239KW), respectively, with an increase of 24 horsepower and 3 horsepower compared to the imported version. In terms of transmission, it is expected that the new car will continue to carry an eight-speed manual self-integrated gearbox.

The price of the imported navigator is 38.88-518800 yuan, and there is room for the price to sink after being made in China. Domestic navigators are expected to appear on the market early next year, when Lincoln's three core SUV products are made in China.

It is worth noting that Lincoln intends to stop the car products, the mainland and MKZ cars will also be completely discontinued, so the future Lincoln domestic models may only have SUV products.

Data show that Lincoln sold more than 7300 vehicles in China in October, up 103% from a year earlier, and the sixth consecutive month of year-on-year sales growth. Among them, Lincoln adventurers sold more than 4300 vehicles in October. According to officials, Lincoln's strategy in China is to stick to the "differentiated" competition of brand value, American luxury and service.

With the advent of navigators, Lincoln still has room to further boost sales, but it will also face challenges from strong competitors such as Audi Q5L, BMW X3, Mercedes-Benz GLCs and Volvo XC60.
