Recently, some media have done a collision test of new and old models to verify the difference in structural safety between new models and old models. This time, they chose Dongfeng Nissan's "New Xuanyi" and "Classic Xuanyi" to collide. Nissan Xuanyi owns a large number of cars in the domestic market. At present, the monthly sales of the classic Xuanyi car model is about 20,000. This test is worthy of attention for many consumers.

On November 18, byte beat's automotive media platform "understanding car Emperor" released a video of a head-on collision between new and old Xuanyi, which uses a 50% offset collision between two cars at 64 km / h. In other words, during the collision test, both the new Xuanyi and the classic Xuanyi completed the frontal collision with a speed of 64 km / h and an overlap rate of 50% (driver side). Finally, the collision was evaluated according to the degree of deformation of the car body and the injury data of the dummy.

The selected model is Dongfeng Nissan Xuanyi 2021 1.6L XL CVT comfort version with a guide price of 129900 yuan, and Dongfeng Nissan Xuanyi 2021 classic 1.6XE CVT comfort version with an instruction price of 108600 yuan. Both models are sub-low configuration, equipped with front, side and head airbags.

With a loud noise at the scene, the 64km/h, 50% offset collision test between the new Xuanyi and the classic Xuanyi was completed. From the perspective of the situation after the collision, the performance of the classic Xuanyi is not very ideal.
