After discovering the problem, Mr. Zheng reflected the situation to the Infiniti 4S store in Yuandu of Guangzhou (hereinafter referred to as "Guangzhou 4S store"). The Guangzhou 4S store suggested that it should be observed for a period of time and let Mr. Zheng continue to drive. In April this year, the 4S store in Guangzhou replaced the engine oil seal for Mr. Zheng's car, but the maintenance measure failed to solve the problem of engine oil leakage.

Not long after the oil seal was replaced, the oil leakage problem appeared again, and Mr. Zheng once again drove the car to the 4S store for inspection. According to Infiniti's after-sales data, Mr. Zheng's car checked for engine oil leaks at 4S stores in Guangzhou in May and November this year.

During the inspection in November, the 4S store told Mr. Zheng that the Infiniti had oil leakage in the large oil pan of the engine and needed to replace the engine. Mr. Zheng believes that the engine is the core component of the car, the replacement of the engine will lead to a serious devaluation of the car, he can not accept that the car has such a serious quality problem.

Mr. Zheng's demand is. Hope that manufacturers and 4S stores return or change cars and make corresponding compensation. In addition, the problem of oil leakage after vehicle maintenance in 4S store has not been solved. Explain and apologize for the existence of improper maintenance operation and other problems.

In response to Mr. Zheng's request, the Guangzhou 4S store said, "the problem reflected by Ms. Lin is real, and now we are also waiting for the manufacturer's advice, but I will not accept any kind of interview from the media. We will only give feedback to the car owners on the latest developments."

The relevant person in charge of Zhaoqing 4S said that the problems encountered by Mr. Zheng have been fed back to the manufacturers, and the specific solution still depends on the manufacturers' opinions. As long as the car is still in the warranty period, we will provide corresponding free maintenance measures for the engine oil leakage. As long as it is convenient, you can drive the car to the 4S store for inspection and maintenance at any time.

Some automotive engineers pointed out that there are many causes of engine oil leakage, which need to be solved by prescribing the right remedy to the case. after the car owner discovers the oil leakage problem, he must contact professionals to deal with it in time, otherwise it may cause serious consequences such as car performance decline, fire and deflagration caused by spark.

In fact, what happened to Mr. Zheng may not be an isolated case. In April this year, Infiniti recalled imported Q50, Q60 and domestic Q50L, a total of 54184 vehicles, because of engine oil leakage.

In addition, through the car quality network inquiry, Infiniti, including QX50, Q50L and other models have been complained by owners of engine oil leakage, gearbox noise, gearbox setbacks and other quality problems.

Infiniti's sales remain depressed due to common quality problems with engines and gearboxes. In October, Dongfeng Infiniti sales were 2808, down 11.3 per cent from a year earlier. Cumulative sales from January to October were 18554, down 30 per cent from a year earlier. Different from the sustained high growth rate of the overall luxury car market, Dongfeng Infiniti obviously stalled, showing a weak state in polarization.

According to the results of the latest "car Dealer inventory" survey released by the China Automobile Circulation Association in October, Dongfeng Infiniti's dealer warehouse coefficient reached 2.51 in October, which has been on the list for three consecutive months and occupies the top position. Entering 2020, Dongfeng Infiniti does not have much action, the promotion of new cars is also very slow, and the inventory of terminal dealers is much higher than the industry average, which can further peep into the operation of the brand.
