Mingtu is a medium-sized sedan owned by Beijing Hyundai. At the just-opened Guangzhou Auto Show, a new generation of name map was officially unveiled. As one of Hyundai's most important models, the car has made major changes in appearance and interior, and the new car is scheduled to be officially launched in the first quarter of 2021.

The new generation of famous pictures can no longer see the shadow of the previous generation of models. From the perspective of the exhibition car, the brand-new picture adopts a new family-style front face design, and the hexagonal middle net adopts the outer ring silver decorative frame + black grid design, together with the exaggerated split headlamp group, the overall shape is more young and domineering. At the same time, the sunken front engine hatch of the new car properly enhances the sense of movement of the car. According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the new map will provide three front grille designs for consumers to choose from.

The rear part of the car is the most recognizable part of the new car, and its taillights use a penetrating shape, which is almost integrated with the lines of the trunk cover, and the English logo of "MISTRA" is embedded on the top of the brand LOGO. In terms of size, the length, width and height of the brand-new drawings are 4780/1815/1460mm and wheelbase 2770mm respectively.

The brand-new generation of famous pictures also adopts a new interior design. From the perspective of the model filmed on the spot, the car uses a two-color interior of white and brown, an integrated screen composed of a full liquid crystal instrument and a large-size central control LCD screen, and a four-frame multi-function flat-bottomed steering wheel with a new style. the overall texture of the new car has been significantly improved.

In the power part, the new car will launch 1.8L naturally aspirated and 1.5T turbocharged engines. The former has a maximum power of 143hp and a maximum torque of 175.5 Nm, matching a CVT CVT, while the latter has a maximum power of 170hp and a maximum torque of 253Nm, matching a 7-speed double-clutch transmission.

It has been seven years since Hyundai Mingtu officially went on sale in November 2013. At present, the famous map models on sale in China are 2017 model and 2019 model, and the manufacturer's guiding price is 14.98-169800 yuan. With the passage of time, the competitiveness of Mingtu in the domestic market is obviously insufficient.

Statistics show that Mingtu sold only 2438 new cars in October, compared with 20069 in the first 10 months, with an average monthly sales of about 2000. The new famous pictures have made changes in appearance and interior, focusing on the young market, but it is hard to say whether they can be accepted by consumers.
