On the morning of October 18, Mr. Wang drove the car from Jin'an District, Fuzhou City. After about seven kilometers, the car suddenly stalled. Mr. Wang tried to restart the vehicle, but failed until five minutes later. Mr. Wang said that the staff of the 4S store was contacted as soon as the failure occurred, and the 4S store said that it was an occasional phenomenon and that it was not a big problem. If you can continue to drive, continue to use it, because Mr. Wang had something to do that day. I didn't drive the car to the 4S store for testing until October 23.

From October 24 to October 30, the 4S store tested the vehicles many times, but each time the causes of the faults were different and the treatment opinions were not the same. The explanations given by 4S store include unstable signal reception, fault of pressure sensor in fuel tank exhaust system, "low speed start and stop" of engine, and so on.

According to the materials provided by Mr. Wang, the diagnosis result of the vehicle is that the starting generator, carbon tank pressure valve and headlights need to be replaced, indicating that the reason for the flameout of the vehicle is the failure of the starting generator, but it is not a serious safety performance failure. Can not meet the user's request to return the car.

In this regard, Mr. Wang thought that there were major safety risks in the vehicle and put forward a request to return and change the car to the 4S store, but it was rejected by the 4S store. 4S store said that Audi vehicle failure is caused by the "low-speed automatic start and stop" function, the manufacturer believes that this fault does not meet the three-package method to return and replace the car, the solution can only replace the starting generator. The relevant staff said it was not clear why the results of the three tests were different.

For the 4S store to deal with the solution, Mr. Wang said he did not agree. At present, Mr. Wang and 4S store have not reached an agreement on the vehicle solution, we will continue to pay attention to the follow-up of the incident.

It is worth mentioning that what happened to Mr. Wang may not be an isolated case. In April this year, FAW-Volkswagen Motor Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration for a recall due to internal defects in the inverter that started the generator, which may lead to local heat accumulation inside the starting generator. in extreme cases, it may cause a vehicle fire. In response to the defect, FAW-Volkswagen recalled 390006 vehicles, involving Audi A4L, A6L and Q5L models.

Industry insiders said that the internal defects of the inverter that starts the generator will lead to abnormal operation of the generator and the inability to generate electricity normally, which will lead to vehicle flameout.

In view of Mr. Wang's situation, a lawyer said that if the return and exchange conditions stipulated in the "three guarantees" of the car are not met, the 4S store has the legal obligation to repair the car free of charge, and if the new car breaks down, it is reasonable to give certain compensation. Consumers can negotiate with business operators, and if negotiation fails, they may apply for mediation to third-party social intermediaries such as consumer protection organizations at all levels in accordance with the law. It may also appeal to the quality and technical supervision department and other relevant administrative departments in accordance with the law. In addition, it can apply for arbitration according to the agreement, or bring a suit in a people's court in accordance with the law.
