According to local media reports in Wuxi, on December 2, the first launch ceremony of brilliance Xinri New Energy vehicle was held in Wuxi brilliance Xinri New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd., and Huang Qin, secretary of the municipal party committee, and other leaders jointly launched the new car offline. This is also the first self-branded new energy vehicle company in Wuxi.

From the perspective of vehicles put into production, brilliance New Day's first mass production model positioning miniature pure electric vehicle. Officials say the car is available in two versions, the A00 class two-door four-seat new energy passenger car i03 and i03AMagneNEDC with a comprehensive range of 410km.

According to the enterprise information, brilliance Xinri New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. was established on October 24, 2018, the address is located in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, the legal representative is Zhang Chongshun. Brilliance Xinri is an independent new car enterprise jointly invested by brilliance Automobile Group holding Co., Ltd. and Xinri (Wuxi) Development Co., Ltd.

Independent veteran car company "brilliance" and electric bicycle company "Xinri" jointly enter the new energy vehicle manufacturing industry through cross-border cooperation. And brilliance Xinri brand LOGO, also used Xinri electric automatic vehicle brand LOGO.

Brilliance Automobile Group is the object of hot discussion in the automobile industry recently. Due to the sluggish development of its own business and successive losses, the enterprise has entered the bankruptcy reorganization process because of its insolvent assets. However, brilliance's cooperation with Xinri began in 2018, and entering the new energy vehicle market through new joint ventures with domestic private enterprises can be seen as a move to accelerate brilliance's layout of the electric vehicle market.

Xinri is an electric bicycle company. The legal representative of Xinri (Wuxi) Development Co., Ltd. is also Zhang Chongshun, which is engaged in the research, development and manufacture of electronic products and auto parts, as well as automobile design and sales. Zhang Chongshun is also the chairman of Jiangsu Xinri Electric vehicle Co., Ltd., which is mainly engaged in the research and development, production and sales of electric bicycles and owns the Xinri electric car brand. In April 2017, Xinri shares were listed on the Shanghai main board A shares, becoming the first company in the electric bicycle industry to be listed on the main board.

It is understood that the first phase of brilliance Xinri New Energy Wuxi Plant has an annual production capacity of 100000 pure electric cars, including stamping, welding, painting, and final assembly production lines, reaching an annual production capacity of 200000 cars by 2023. The company will launch two pure electric cars, i03 and i03A, in the current phase, and plans to launch two more products by 2022, a four-door four-seat passenger car and a commercial logistics vehicle.

Brilliance Xinri's first production car uses a dual design, corresponding to i03 and i03A respectively. Among them, the 103 model is more like the design method of the traditional model, the headlights, fog lights and taillights are circular design, the front grille is lattice shape. On the other hand, the 103A model has a completely closed front shape, the headlamp design has also been changed to a line style, and the rear part is a penetrating design.

Brilliance Xinri this new car is located in the miniature pure electric vehicle, its body size of the length, width and height are 3288/1670/1654mm, wheelbase is 2185mm, the interior provides four seats. In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a ternary lithium ion battery pack produced by far East Battery Jiangsu Co., Ltd., as well as a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a power of 45 kilowatts. The NEDC mileage of the car is 410km NEDC 0-50km/h acceleration of 4.5 seconds, and the car is equipped with standard primary and secondary airbags, ABS anti-lock braking system, EBD braking force distribution, ramp assistance and other safety features, officials said.

As the new car is not officially on the market, there is no information on the price of the car. From the vehicle positioning point of view, the car is mainly aimed at Wuling Hongguang MINI, Chery eQ1, Baojun E100 and other new energy small scooter market.

Brilliance Xinri as a new energy brand, many aspects have followed the traditional approach, such as the brand LOGO also used Xinri electric automatic vehicle LOGO and so on. On the other hand, under the influence of brilliance Automobile Group entering the bankruptcy reorganization procedure, it will have an impact on the marketing of the new brand to a certain extent.
