For example, the new power of the head, Xiaopeng and ideal cars have led the new energy market under the effective control of the epidemic in China. A few days ago, all three car companies released the latest sales figures, and set a new high.
According to the specific sales data released by the three companies in November, Xilai continues to be the highest-selling car company among the three major brands, with cumulative sales of 5291 vehicles in November, an increase of 109.3% over the same period last year, and 5055 units delivered in October this year. November hit a monthly delivery record. In terms of specific models, ES8 delivered 1387 vehicles, ES6 delivered 2386 vehicles and EC6 delivered 1518 vehicles.
This was followed by the ideal car, which delivered 4646 vehicles in November with its ideal ONE alone, an increase of 25.8% over October. It is worth noting that in October this year, a variety of "broken axis" public opinion, ideal ONE also carried out a recall, but does not seem to let its sales affected, a monthly delivery record.
Xiaopeng Automobile, as a new car released later, is earlier than the ideal car company, and has been lagging behind the ideal since the second half of the year. Although Xiaopeng brought the second model P7 this year, it failed to surpass the ideal car when climbing downhill.
Specific figures show that Xiaopeng delivered 4224 units in November, an increase of 342% over the same period last year, and both reached a new high in 2020. In terms of car segments, Xiaopeng P7 delivered 2732 vehicles in November, up 30 per cent from the previous month, while Xiaopeng G3 delivered 1492 vehicles a month, up 59 per cent from the previous month.
In addition, when the latest sales figures were released, officials also revealed that as of November 30, it had opened 189 stores across the country, including 22 centers and 167 space. The sales network has covered 111 cities across the country.
Although there are more stores in NIO, from the average cumulative sales per store, it has become the brand with the lowest single store sales among the three new power car companies. Statistics show that single-store sales in November were only 28, while Xiaopeng, a similar store, sold only a little higher, 32. By contrast, the single-store sales of ideal cars reached 103, which can be said to be nearly three times that of Ulai and Xiaopeng. It also reflects that in the only different cities, ideal ONE models are more chosen by consumers than Ulai and Xiaopeng cars.
In fact, because it is the earliest of the three companies to go on the market, and it is also the earliest to lay out the market with the passage of time, according to statistics, the current coverage of 111 cities in the country is also much higher than Xiaopeng car and ideal car. Xiaopeng Motor is also constantly "copying" the mode of selling cars on the Internet, rapidly expanding the number of online stores up to 100, and covering 23 provinces and 64 cities. Compared with the similar flag-planting channel strategy of the former, the ideal car obviously pays more attention to the expansion efficiency.
Judging from the latest financial performance of the three companies, ideal Automobile has not only achieved its own "hematopoiesis" with its automobile business, but also laid a good foundation for future development in terms of capital reserves.
In the third quarter, the revenue of ideal car reached 2.511 billion yuan, an increase of 28.9% over the previous month, and the gross profit margin reached a high level of 19.8%, gradually approaching Tesla's 23.5% in the same period. While Xilai Motor, the gross profit margin of car sales (14.5%) and the comprehensive gross profit margin (12.9%) have both reached double digits, while Xiaopeng has just become a regular car in the third quarter of this year, which is obviously not ideal.
In addition, by the end of the third quarter of this year, the ideal cash reserve is 18.916 billion yuan, and the expansion based on positive cash flow will also become the strategic basis of the ideal car. after all, in the current competition in the new power market, higher cash flow is the core competitiveness of car companies. As a result, high-quality expansion and another slow expansion will gradually highlight the gap over time.
The data show that 36721 vehicles were delivered in November, with an average of 194cars delivered by a single store; 21341 vehicles were delivered by Xiaopeng in the first November and 164vehicles were delivered by a single store; while 26498 vehicles were sold in the first November, with an average sales of 589. it is 3.6times that of Xiaopeng and three times that of NIO.
