Among them, the Toyota RAV4 mixed version of the domestic model, which was unveiled in Europe and the United States last year, has also been exposed a few days ago.

A few days ago, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology exposed a group of FAW Toyota RAV4 to release dual-engine E+ (plug-in version) new car information. From the exposure picture, the new car only has a rear photo and specific configuration information, which also means that the new domestic Toyota RAV4 is not long before it goes on sale. According to previous media reports, the domestic version of Toyota RAV4 will officially go into production in April 2021, and according to the sales volume disclosed by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the new car is expected to be on the market in the first half of next year.

In addition, it has been learned that the plug-in version of the RAV4 and the fuel version will be produced on the same production line, but the output value will be different, with 16200 plug-in models for every 120000 fuel version of the new RAV4. It is worth mentioning that the mixed version of the RAV4 model size will be slightly smaller than the fuel version.

In fact, the earliest news of FAW Toyota's new RAV4 domestic version mixed version was exposed on the Chinese international bidding website in early December last year, when FAW Toyota only completed the introduction of the new RAV4 PHEV model and invited tenders for the planned technological transformation of capacity expansion, which is located in FAW Toyota's Jilin Changchun base. A year's time can also reflect the urgency of Toyota's entry into the domestic new energy market.

Last November, Toyota brought its new RAV4 Prime model, the first plug-in model, to the Los Angeles auto show and announced that it would go on sale this summer, meaning the domestic market would be in the evening for a year.

As the new car is only a mixed version of the ordinary RAV4, so the appearance of the whole car will be consistent with the overseas version. According to the previously unveiled models, the blue Toyota LOGO at the front and the "Plug-in Hybrid" on the front wing indicate its hybrid identity. On the basis of the fuel version RAV4, the plug-in version adds the charging Jack cover design at the right rear fender.

According to the declaration information, the length, width and height of the new car are 4600/1855/1680mm and the wheelbase is 2690mm.

In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a plug-in hybrid system composed of a 2.5L Atkinson cycle engine and a motor, of which the 2.5L engine has a maximum power of 178 horsepower, and the maximum power of the motor can reach 306 horsepower. With the blessing of Toyota's core three electric technology, the fuel consumption of 100 kilometers can be broken in only 1.1L ·74s. The pure electric mileage is 80km, and the comprehensive mileage is 1400km.

At present, FAW Toyota RAV4 plug-in version seems to be a bit slow compared with the listed Volkswagen Touguan L PHEV, Volkswagen Tanyue GTE and Honda CR-V PHEV in the near future, so with the current acceleration of the mixed model layout, it will also be Toyota's plan to expand its layout in China.
