Some media have learned from sources inside Great Wall that the "SL" project of Great Wall Motor has been named "Sharon Zhihang" and has established Shanghai Sharon Zhihang Industrial Co., Ltd., with Li Peng, Digital Executive Officer of Great Wall Automobile, as the legal representative of the company.

According to Tianyan inquiry, Shanghai Harvard Automotive Technology Co., Ltd. has officially changed its name to "Shanghai Sharon Zhixing Industrial Co., Ltd." and its legal representative has been changed to Li Peng.

Sharon Zhihang's sole shareholder is Shanghai Mianyan Information Technology Co., Ltd., which is 100% owned by Great Wall Automobile Co., Ltd.

At the same time, the original company is only engaged in technology development services, but after it was changed to "Salon Zhihang", the company's business scope has been further expanded. including new energy vehicle sales, new energy vehicle exchange facilities sales, waste power battery recycling, charging pile sales, Internet of things technology research and development services.

According to a person familiar with the matter, the operation mode of Sharon Zhihang is completely different from the affiliated brands of car companies in the past, and it will operate as independent companies and brands. Li Peng will lead Sharon Zhihang to explore the organization, mechanism, culture, products and operation mode.

However, there is not much other detailed information about the new high-end new energy car brand of Great Wall, and the new brand naming, vehicle logo LOGO, investment planning, product performance, technical parameters and other aspects are not known for the time being. However, judging from the name of the new company, it may be named "salon car".

At present, Great Wall has four own brands, namely, Harvard, WEY, Great Wall pickup and Euler, as well as a joint venture with BMW. After the above news is confirmed, the fifth largest brand under Great Wall will be born.
