Recently, a group of Audi A7L latest spy photos have been exposed, from this group of pictures, the new car still has a large number of camouflage packages, but it can still be seen that the whole car is a hatchback model. At the same time, the license plate hanging on the front of the car can be seen as an overseas license plate, so it can be speculated that the model is under road test in the German market, but some media predict that this does not mean that the car will be sold overseas at the same time, it is just a routine test.

Judging from the spy photos, the front face design of the test model is basically the same as that of the Sportback version, with a hexagonal large mouth air intake grille, and there is no significant change at the vents like the front bar, which also shows that the new car as a whole will be the same as the current Audi A7.

As for the side of the car, which is also the most controversial part of the car, the new car does not continue the obvious slip-back shape of the current Audi A7, but turns it into a traditional three-car shape, while the rear car also looks slender. The whole vehicle design is quite similar to the Audi A6L, perhaps in SAIC's view, the practicality of the hatchback model is more in line with the aesthetic and needs of the Chinese people.

According to the current Audi A7 body size, 4976/1908/1414mm, wheelbase is 2928mm, and as a special lengthened model, it can be expected that SAIC Audi A7L is very likely to break through 5m and 3m in body length and wheelbase in the future.

In terms of the rear part of the body, the new taillight group and lines basically follow the styling design of the current model, thus proving that the car is SAIC-Volkswagen Audi A7L. At the same time, according to the previously exposed white body, the rear of the car is also printed with the words "A7L", "SAIC Audi" and "55 TFSI", which not only highlights the identity of the car, but also indicates that the car will be equipped with a 3.0T turbocharged engine, the same as the Audi A6L.

Although the Audi A7 is a niche model in China, it is also Audi's only medium-sized sedan model. With the domestic listing of the A7L model, whether the imported A7 model will still be introduced? after all, in the eyes of some netizens, the A7 is not the original Ingerstadt model. As for the price, as the model has been domestically produced by SAIC Audi, the current price of imported A7 is 573800, and the starting price of domestic A7L may enter the range of 500000 yuan.

In addition to the Audi A7L, SAIC Audi's second model will be a medium-and large-scale fuel SUV. According to relevant government documents, the Ningbo branch of SAIC-Volkswagen Motor Co., Ltd. applied for Audi C-level SUV technical renovation project, with a planned annual production capacity of 75000 vehicles. At present, Audi's automobile / diesel medium-sized SUV only has two models, Q7 and Q8, and which model will be put into production in the future remains to be confirmed.

According to Audi's plan, it plans to launch seven local models in the next five years, and sales in China will double to 1.2 million in six years. This year, FAW Audi's sales in China reached the 600000 mark from January to October, which not only achieved year-on-year growth, but also hit an all-time high.
