Recently, at the FAW-Volkswagen Audi Investor Annual meeting, FAW-Volkswagen Audi announced the latest product plan, which will launch 16 replacement / new models + 17 CKD special version models in 2021, including the new Audi A3 Sportback, the new Audi A3L, the domestic Audi e-tron, the Audi e-tron Sportback, the medium-term Audi Q5L and the medium-term Audi Q2L.

The first model to appear on the market is the new Audi A3 family. It is reported that the new domestic Audi A3 will be officially launched on January 7, 2021, and the new car will launch Audi A3L Limousine (long-axle hatchback version) and Audi A3 Sportback (standard axle hatchback version). The car has been pre-sold at the 2020 Guangzhou Auto Show, with a pre-sale price range of 21-250000 yuan.

From the appearance of the exhibition car, the new Audi A3L adopts a new design technique, its large-size front middle net adopts honeycomb shape, the shape of the headlamp group changes obviously, and the recognition is further improved after lighting. There are larger front bumper air inlets on both sides of the front, making the overall appearance more sporty than the previous generation. In terms of size, the length, width and height are 4548 (4554) / 1814/1429mm respectively, and the wheelbase has reached 2680mm, which is 51mm higher than that of the old model.

The new Audi A3L interior continues the overall features and design details of the overseas version, the new car is equipped with a 10.1-inch central control screen and 12.3-inch full LCD dashboard, and there are significant changes in gear layout and shift design. the central control area looks more concise.

On the power side, the new Audi A3L will be equipped with a 1.4T four-cylinder turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 110kw (150ps) and a peak torque of 250N ·m, matched by a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox, and a 2.0T version will be available for consumers to choose from.

Another Chinese-made Audi e-tron made its debut at the 2020 Beijing Auto Show and is expected to go on sale in March 2021. From the overall point of view of the exhibition car, the appearance and interior of the domestic e-tron are consistent with the imported version, with a large-size medium net shape and a sharper headlamp on the front face, while Audi's brand-new design language is used in the interior decoration, equipped with double LCD screens, which enhances the sense of science and technology in the car.

In terms of power, the front and rear axles of the new car are equipped with an AC asynchronous motor, the maximum power of the front motor is 156 horsepower, the peak torque is 226 Nm, and the maximum power of the rear motor is 234 hp and the peak torque is 314 Nm, which is different from the power parameters of the imported model. In terms of price, the official guiding price of imported Audi e-tron is 69.28-800800 yuan, and the domestic price is expected to be less than 500000 yuan.

Unlike the e-tron, e-tron Sportback uses a slippery body design that makes the car look more sporty. With reference to overseas models, it is expected that 50 quattro and 55 quattro will be launched in China, with WLTP mileage of 347km and 446km respectively.

As medium-term models, the Audi Q5L and Audi Q2L will be adjusted for the appearance and interior configuration, such as the octagonal intake grille on the front face of the Audi Q5L and the vertical trim bar on the octagonal intake grille. As for power, the two models will continue to use the power configuration of cash models.

According to the data, FAW-Volkswagen Audi sold 688000 new cars in 2019, an increase of 4.2% over the same period last year, on the basis of which it set a sales target of 700000 in 2020. This year, due to the epidemic and intensified competition in the auto market, FAW-Volkswagen Audi sold only 512100 vehicles (including imported models) in the first three quarters, less than BMW's 560300 and Mercedes-Benz's 569700. There is some pressure on the annual sales target completion rate.

However, from the FAW-Volkswagen Audi 2021 new car planning, 2021 products are still relatively rich, new domestic models and medium-term modified models may bring new growth for Audi brand. According to the official announcement, FAW-Volkswagen Audi has a sales target of 780000 vehicles in 2021, an increase of 11.2% from 700000 in 2020.
