However, Mr. Yu reported that after two months of driving, there was something wrong with the new energy vehicle, and the front and rear motors malfunctioned. Although it was said that the mileage could reach 600km, it actually ran only 500km. After the maintenance of the motor, the car has a bigger problem, the mileage can only be reduced to 360km.

Mr. Yu sent the car to the display center, and the salesperson tested and upgraded the car, but after two months, the problem still could not be solved. Mr. Yu proposed to return the car, and the merchant put forward a buyback solution. The merchant bought back the car at a price of more than 100,000 yuan, but Mr. Yu felt that he had lost more than 100,000 yuan, and the merchant put forward a plan to change the car, but instead of a two-wheel drive version, Mr. Yu found that he had lost another 30,000 yuan.

The person in charge of the exhibition center said that the data detected now are normal, but they may not meet the users' psychological expectations. The customer's requirement is to reach the mileage above 450km on the highway, but the electric car will be discounted in winter, so now it is basically around 400km if you run high speed.

However, Mr. Yu did not agree with the person in charge, saying that the car basically ran 360km and fell to the nest. Mr. Yu also disagreed with the issue of winter service discount. He said that he was willing to put the car in the exhibition center and come back to test and pick it up in the summer. if it could reach more than 450km, he would take the car away and no longer ask for a return.

The person in charge of the exhibition center said that the NEDC integrated range 600km advertised by the manufacturers is the data in the laboratory state, without any air resistance, is the result in the most ideal state, and the car's range capacity of less than 600km is not a quality problem.

In fact, the discount on the winter life of new energy vehicles is not uncommon. At present, most of the pure electric vehicles are equipped with ternary lithium batteries, and some of them are equipped with lithium iron hot phosphate batteries, which can inhibit the chemical reaction inside the batteries to a certain extent in the case of low temperature in winter, resulting in a decrease in battery mileage.

Whether it is GAC NE, Tesla and BYD, it is an inevitable fact that most pure electric batteries have discounts on battery life in winter. Recently, an automotive media has publicly tested nine pure electric vehicles (Porsche Taycan, BYD Han EV, GAC Eian AION S, Polar Alpha T, Geometry C, Polar Polestar 2, Tesla Model 3, Xilai ES6, Xiaopeng Automobile P7).

From the published results, Porsche Taycan range discount is 21.3%, BYD EV and GAC AIon S range discount is less than 30%, while polar fox α T's range discount is the largest, NEDC comprehensive mileage is 653km, but the media measured mileage is only 381km.
