A few days ago, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and other four departments jointly issued a number of notices on further improving the financial subsidy policy for the promotion and application of new energy vehicles. The circular makes it clear that the subsidy standard for new energy vehicles in 2021 will decline by 20% on the basis of 2020; the subsidy standard for vehicles in areas such as public transport will decline by 10% on the basis of 2020, and local governments can continue to provide subsidies for the purchase of new energy buses.
Specifically, in the non-public domain subsidy policy, the battery life standard of pure electric vehicles has been increased to the 400km standard, and the vehicle guidance price before the subsidy is less than 300000 yuan, of which the state subsidy for NEDC driving range above 400km is 18000 yuan; the state subsidy for NEDC driving range between 300 and 400km is 13000 yuan; and the battery life of plug-in hybrid model NEDC needs to be greater than 50km, and the state subsidy is 6800 yuan.
Based on the above situation, some mainstream car companies will be affected to varying degrees.
Wuling Hongguang MINI EV can not be replenished.
As the first electric car launched by SAIC Wuling, the Wuling Hongguang MINI EV, which is the first electric car under the Wuling brand, went on sale in June last year with a new car guidance price of 28800-3.88. Fortunately, the price of the new car is not high, and sales have continued to rise since it was put on the market, exceeding 20,000 monthly sales in September and October this year, and breaking the 30,000 mark in November, so it has become the new top seller in the new energy vehicle market.
According to the new policy, if the mileage is 30000km, the subsidy is 13000 yuan, and the maximum mileage is only to 170km's Wuling Hongguang MINI EV. In fact, this is consistent with 2020. Therefore, Wuling Hongguang MINI EV sales may not be greatly affected, as the whole car price is not high, and just to meet the customer Nissan, sales may appear to maintain stability.
The price of Tesla model has been greatly reduced.
The new deal has little impact on Tesla's models, as the Model 3 entry-level model is already within the subsidized price, but in order to further expand market competitiveness. Recently, Tesla lowered the price of the high-performance version of Model 3 by up to 79900 yuan. At the same time, the long-lasting dual-motor all-drive version and Performance high-performance version of the Model Y model have also been officially adjusted to 33.99 and 369900 yuan. Compared with the price of imported Model Y pre-sold on the official website, it has been reduced by 148100 yuan and 165100 yuan.
Because the lower price of Wuling Hongguang MINI EV satisfies more consumers, its sales volume has exceeded that of domestic Tesla, but with the domestic purchase trend and the continuous decline of Tesla's price, Tesla may gradually seize the domestic independent brand market, especially for big cities. The listing of Model Y, Cui Dongshu, secretary-general of the Federation of passengers, believes that it will also compete for the high-end luxury market.
NIO brand pays out of its own pocket for subsidies
According to the new policy, the subsidy for the purchase of NIO will be RMB1.15-18000, while users of NIO who make a decision before January 10 will be given a subsidy of RMB1.44-22500, which means that the extra subsidies will be paid out of their own pocket.
Specifically, from January 1, 2021, the subsidy for purchasing the new ES8, 70kWh version of EC6, 70kWh version and 100kWh version of ES6 is 1.44,1.8,1.152 and 18000 yuan respectively. Users who pay before January 10, 2021 can still enjoy the subsidy in accordance with the 2020 national subsidy standard, and the difference will be borne by Wei. The subsidy amount of the new ES8, 70kWh version of EC6, 70kWh and 100kWh version of ES6 is 1.8,2.25,1.44 and 22500 yuan respectively.
The "New year's car purchase" plan launched by NIO gives consumers additional subsidies for car purchases. On the basis of the state subsidies, NIO paid out of its own pocket to make up the subsidy to the same level as in 2019.
The ideal car may be affected to some extent due to interruption.
From the perspective of the New deal, the impact on plug-in hybrid cars can be said to be the greatest, and those with a range of less than 50 kilometers will not enjoy subsidies. And the mileage of more than 50 kilometers, the subsidy of 6800 yuan, so I think many joint ventures "oil to electricity" plug-in models will no longer enjoy subsidies.
Although the ideal car is a kind of mixed-in model, because the ideal ONE of the ideal car is an added model, the pure electric mileage also reaches 180km. And for the consumption of ideal ONE models, it will not be subsidized to change the car demand, from the ideal customer group, it is mostly because of license plate and model space and mileage considerations.
It is not difficult to see that the impact of best-selling models will not be too great for the launch of the New deal. As the government informed in advance the extent of subsidy decline in 2021, the new subsidy policy does not have a transitional period and will be implemented directly from January 1, 2021.
With the gradual rebound of the new energy market in the second half of 2020, the sales of many new energy car companies have increased, especially the performance of new power car companies, which also means that personal consumption demand is increasing. At the same time, with the decline of subsidies, more and more new energy car companies will be eliminated. If 2020 is a qualifying round, 2021 will be a knockout round.
