The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Guangdong Bangpu Recycling material Technology Co., Ltd., while Guangdong Bangpu's largest shareholder is Ningde Times, with a shareholding ratio of 52.8751%. In other words, the factory that caught fire belongs to Sun Company of Ningde Times.

At the same time, the company is also the largest national high-tech enterprise in China for recycling waste lithium batteries and producing high-end battery materials, with an annual recovery of more than 60000 tons of batteries. annual output of nickel-cobalt manganese hydroxide (ternary precursor), nickel-cobalt lithium manganate (ternary material) and other 4500 tons.

According to the financial report, Hunan Bangpu achieved revenue of 5.155 billion yuan and net profit of 639 million yuan in 2019, while the net profit of Ningde era was 4.56 billion yuan in the same period. The former accounted for about 14% of the overall net profit of Ningde era.
