Since it is called plug-in system, naturally the system model is not pure electric model, but the BYD model with DM-i super hybrid system has almost the driving experience of pure electric car, and has the advantage of smoothness, no battery life anxiety and charging anxiety.

According to the official introduction, this is a set of plug-in system based on the principle of "more electricity and less oil", which is obviously different from the traditional oil-based mixing system. The comprehensive mileage of fuel and electricity is more than 1200 km, of which the longest pure electric mileage can reach 120km, which is higher than most of the mixed models on the market.

At the same time, the fourth generation of DM technology is divided into two directions, the pursuit of performance to achieve 100 km acceleration of about 4 seconds, and the pursuit of the ultimate economy of "ultra-low fuel consumption" fuel consumption will be less than 4L/100km.

It is understood that the system is driven by a motor in 99% of the operating conditions, the driving experience is infinitely close to the pure electric vehicle, and the engine is in a state of flameout in 81% of the operating conditions, with zero fuel consumption. That is, in most hybrid modes, the engine drives a high-power generator to power the drive motor. In pure electric mode, the special blade battery is responsible for supplying power to the drive motor; in medium and high speed driving conditions, the engine is timely direct drive or parallel with the drive motor to output power.

At the same time as the release of the DM-i super plug-in system, BYD has also launched three models, all equipped with DMI-i super hybrid, including Qin PLUS DM-i, Song PLUS DM-i and Tang DM-i, which are now on pre-sale. Among them, Qin PLUSDM-i subsidized pre-sale price is 107800 yuan-147800 yuan; DM-i subsidized pre-sale price is 197800-224800 yuan; Song PLUSDM-i subsidized pre-sale price is 15.38-175800 yuan, three models are on the market in March.

From the price point of view, it can be said that the arrival of BYD mixed models, a further impact on the joint venture market and fuel models. With the end of the press conference, BYD's share price rose again, after all, in the eyes of netizens, this is simply a "price butcher".

As of press time, BYD's Hong Kong shares fell 3.59% to HK $247 per share, with a total market capitalization of more than HK $700 billion, second only to Tesla, Toyota and NIO, and ranked among the top five global auto companies. It is not difficult to see that most of the car companies with higher market capitalization come from new energy vehicle companies, which is not only the tuyere of the current new energy vehicle, but also the market in the future.

However, in the view of Cao Dewang, chairman of Fuyao Group, the "glass king", new energy vehicles have accumulated a certain bubble, which may end up wasting a lot of money and overcapacity. In many people, new energy vehicles are regarded as a good investment opportunity or tuyere, so they rush to invest.

It can be seen that at present, the sales volume of many new power car companies is not high, but their market capitalization continues to rise, even far more than most traditional car companies, which is also the reason why netizens are not optimistic about the new power. On the contrary, BYD, Tesla and other "long-distance runners" in the field of electric vehicles, their electrification field is not overnight, so they have a certain technology to support their rising market value.

According to the full-year sales released by BYD, BYD sold 28841 new energy vehicles in December, up 120.177 per cent from the same period last year. Although there was a marked increase, due to the overall poor performance in the first half of the year, the annual sales totaled 426972 vehicles, down 7.46 per cent from the same period last year. It is believed that after the launch of the DM-i super hybrid model, BYD will conquer the fuel vehicle market and open up more incremental space for the energy sector in the New year.
