Daimler found that in China, 80-90% of vehicle purchases are influenced by women's opinions, 50% of Chinese households' income is contributed by women, and 77% of Chinese households' daily expenses are borne by women. As a result, Daimler believes that female consumers need to be identified.
Tang Shikai also said that Mercedes-Benz will strengthen its efforts in the following areas in the future, including excellent products and services, high focus on customers and market demand, and strong brand influence.
Daimler sold 653000 vehicles in China in 2018, up 11% from a year earlier, and China has become Mercedes-Benz's largest single market in the world since 2015.
