AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)01/25 Report--

In the era when new energy vehicles begin to prevail, it is still controversial to choose fuel vehicles or electric vehicles, because fuel vehicles are still the largest model in the market, while electric vehicles are a major trend. Recently, it has been reported that car owners who have chosen electric cars will not consider buying gasoline cars.

According to the latest electric vehicle research report of J.D. Power, although pure electric vehicles are not mature and need to be improved a lot, the vast majority of pure electric vehicle owners are still satisfied with the electric vehicles they have chosen, and even this part of consumers say that they will no longer want to consider fuel vehicles if they change cars.

The report also mentioned that such consumers, who only consider electric cars when buying models, are not loyal to one electric car brand and may change in electric car brands. According to Brent Gruber, senior global automotive director at J.D. Power, early surveys of electric car users show that they will generally remain loyal to electric cars, but not just stay on the same brand.

It is understood that in this survey, J.D Power mainly analyzes the luxury car market and the mass consumer model market, mainly from seven dimensions: mileage, accuracy, compatibility of public charging piles, use cost, driving fun, home charging convenience and vehicle quality and reliability.

After the survey, Tesla took the lead by an absolute advantage, while Kia Niro electric car also performed well, making it the best electric vehicle in the Volkswagen market.

In fact, according to a report released by J.D. Power in October last year, because electric cars are still immature, most consumers are still skeptical of electric vehicles. Only 13% of the consumers surveyed will buy electric cars within two years, while 30% said they have never considered buying electric cars. It is worth noting that in this survey report, more than 2/3 consumers have not experienced electric cars, and even 30% of consumers know nothing about electric cars. It can be said that with the trend of electric vehicles, more and more consumers who choose electric vehicles will keep their enthusiasm for electric vehicles.

In this regard, in the view of car companies, how to arouse consumers' interest in electric cars is more worthy of study than the promotion of car cost. This has also led more and more automakers to study electric cars in the hope of producing models that are more popular with consumers. It was previously reported that carmakers are expected to launch a large number of electric vehicles in the next three years, with about 100 electric vehicles on the market in the United States by 2024.

As we all know, compared with the current fuel models, electric models have the advantages of low vehicle cost, such as oil price, maintenance, fast acceleration, quiet and high comfort, and have the advantages of being easier to sign up in some parts of the country. these have become popular reasons for consumers, but at the same time there are still many shortcomings.

These shortcomings are also the reasons why the vast majority of consumers fail to consider electric vehicles, including the seven factors surveyed: such as the accuracy of battery mileage; the availability of public charging stations; battery mileage; driving fun; the convenience of charging at home; and vehicle quality and reliability.

For example, mileage is undoubtedly the biggest problem restricting the development of electric vehicles. If there is enough mileage, consumers do not have to worry about the gap between the actual mileage of the battery and the mileage. There is no need to worry about the lack of charging facilities or slow facilities. So consumers also prefer that the battery mileage can be more accurate or closer to the real mileage.

The survey also shows that owners of high-end pure electric vehicles (BEV) are 235 points more satisfied with public charging availability than mass market BEV owners, mainly because Tesla owners are 305 points higher than other brand owners.

The reason why electric car consumers are more willing to insist on buying back electric vehicles is that electric vehicles are cheaper to use and usually require less maintenance and maintenance than internal combustion engine cars. However, the high devaluation and short battery life of electric vehicles are also concerns of electric car consumers. By comparing the advantages and disadvantages, more consumers who have bought electric cars in the United States will consider choosing electric cars back.
