Ideal ONE, as the first model of ideal car, has been recalled due to frequent accidents, which has attracted a lot of attention. Recently, however, a similar incident was recorded in a video recording of an ideal ONE. However, eyewitnesses have clarified that there is no "broken axle" in the vehicle.

According to a video captured by a driving recorder provided by netizens, an ideal ONE passed from the left while the camera car was driving, and the ideal ONE was relatively fast in terms of the speed at that time. After passing to a section of uphill road, the ideal parallel section suddenly sank on the left side after turning at a high speed, because it could not control it and crashed into a motorcycle passing by on the right side.

Although the cause of the accident is not known for the time being, some industry insiders speculated through video analysis that the video showed that the front of the car sank violently in front of the left and lost support, the two wheels on the right side were vacated, and the whole car seriously lost control and directly rammed into pedestrians by the side of the road. It is highly suspected that the positioning support function of the left front wheel of the vehicle is lost in the middle of the high-speed bend (the problem of control arm ball pin breaking under the previously recalled quality defect has been concerned).

However, some netizens questioned that it might be caused by a collision on the left side of the vehicle, because the video could not be seen clearly with the vehicle involved, and the above industry insiders thought that the netizens suggested that the video showed that the left front part of the vehicle rammed into a single roadside post after the guardrail section went out of the corner, and then the vehicle began to show a continuous state of getting out of control. Before hitting pedestrians on the road, the front front of the car slumped and sank violently, the rear went up, and the two wheels on the right took off and rammed the pedestrians to the bottom of the ditch.

In response to this matter, the driver of the camera car also clarified that the ideal ONE involved did not have a "broken axis". Due to human operation, it overwhelmed the grass, the vehicle skidded, hit a side stone, and the whole car flew up and hit the door. However, there are no obvious accidents in motorcycle members and ideal ONE, and the personnel are safe.

Before the accident, on November 1, 2020, ideal said that it would carry out a "hardware upgrade" for vehicles produced after June 2, replacing its new ball pin with a 50KN release force, and said that the new measure could solve the so-called "broken shaft problem" in public opinion.

However, shortly after the upgrade was released, it caused controversy, and what was supposed to be a "recall" was officially glorified as a hardware upgrade. On November 6th, ideal Auto officially issued a letter of apology for the ideal ONE hardware upgrade and announced a recall of 10469 ideal ONE vehicles. However, the re-emergence of similar problems has undoubtedly aroused everyone's doubt and concern.

Coincidentally, in the late night of November 7, an ideal ONE in Changsha was "broken" again after the recall. From the video, there are obvious signs of prolapse of the left front wheel, but the surroundings are smooth and clean, there are no signs of an accident, there is no damage to the railing, and there is no bump on the visible part of the car body, which is obviously a bicycle accident.

But the video of the accident in Changsha was released on November 8, and so far, ideal officials have not made any public response to the accident.

For these two accidents which have been recalled and also occurred, it means that the ideal car for this new plan to recall and replace 50KN ball pins does not seem to be able to eliminate safety risks.

In accordance with Article 19 of the recall regulations: for defective automobile products recalled, producers shall promptly take measures such as repair, replacement, return and other measures to eliminate defects. In other words, the elimination of defects is the ultimate goal of the recall, not a mere formality, and the sooner the better, without delay. At the same time, the quality supervision department should supervise the recall to ensure that the recall measures are effective.
