Mr. Qiu said that since the manufacturer carries out remote technical analysis of the vehicle, the 4S store should issue a written test report. If such an accident occurs, it is definitely not possible to give an oral reply.

As for whether the corresponding test report can be provided? The 4S store service director said that it was only a verbal communication of the manufacturer's remote analysis results, which did not belong to the test report, so it could not be provided.

It is understood that. The Audi A4L purchased by Mr. Qiu was recalled once in October 2014 because of airbag-related problems. FAW-Volkswagen recalled 4692 imported Audi A4allroad cars and 265943 domestic Audi A4L vehicles produced between May 25, 2012 and October 22, 2014, totaling 270635, according to the website of the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration.

The reason for the recall is due to the problem of setting the software parameters of the airbag control unit. In the case of a very few special side angle collisions, the front airbag may not be opened correctly and there are hidden dangers. In view of the above defects, FAW-Volkswagen will carry out software upgrades for the airbag control units of vehicles within the scope of the recall in order to eliminate safety risks.

It is understood that Mr. Qiu's Audi A4L is also within the scope of the recall and completed the software upgrade in 2016, but why the airbag still does not eject normally after the software upgrade, whether it is true as said by the 4S store service director or for another reason, it is worth paying attention to.
