The car turned left but did not turn.

Mr. Quan said that after entering the garage, the speed was between 20 and 30 yards. because he was familiar with this route, he knew that there was a wall at the end of the road that the car needed to turn, so he used to put on the brakes, but he felt that the speed did not slow down. From the point of view of the degree of damage, the left front of the ES6 was seriously damaged, the hood and bumper were deformed, and the left side of the collision beam was broken.

From the driving picture, the ES6 hit the wall in 42 minutes and 42 seconds. From the background vehicle driving data, the accelerator reached the highest value of 38 in 42 minutes and 37 seconds, and then the accelerator was released and the speed decreased naturally. When you hit the brakes at 42 minutes and 40 seconds, the braking data is 33.5, when the speed slows down from 33 to 26, but the next second the speed does not change with the brakes on. Therefore, Mr. Quan thinks that the brakes of the ES6 are out of order.

Official after-sales staff of Hangzhou Jiangling Road Xilai Automobile said that after the customer accelerated, the speed began to slow down, coupled with the epoxy floor and garage floor water stains, the ABS started immediately after stepping on the brakes. Why didn't the brakes fail? He believes that customers release the throttle at top speed, hit the brake at 33, and then slow down from 33 to 26. In other words, the staff believe that the slippery road surface of the basement is the main reason why ES6 hit the wall. Judging from the pictures at the scene, the basement road was indeed wet at that time.

In addition, Mr. Quan also mentioned that the airbag and the air curtain on the driver's side did not pop up after the ES6 hit the wall. In response to this situation, the after-sales staff of NIO said that the ES6 was hit on the side, and the part of the impact can also be seen that the part of the girder was not damaged, but a section was broken on the left side of the anti-collision beam. Therefore, the collision angle and collision deceleration of this condition are the unreachable conditions for airbag trigger.

Mr. Quan said that he accepted the after-sales staff's explanation that the ES6 airbag did not pop up, but he still did not agree with the explanation of the brakes. At present, the two sides are still in further negotiations.

In this case of "out of control" of an electric car, the car owner and the factory will have different views, but the controversial point is not as heated as in some previous cases. On the one hand, because both sides express different views based on visible data and videos, there are usually many reasons for getting out of control, and the processing logic of electric vehicles is different from that of traditional fuel-fueled vehicles. To a large extent, this logic is controlled by the vehicle itself, so the significance of the public's concern about the out-of-control case of electric vehicles is whether the accident is caused by the vehicle itself. Of course, many out-of-control cases may be due to the unwillingness of the car owner to take responsibility.
