SAIC GM Wuling Motor Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration to recall a total of 19680 2017 Baojun 560 DCT vehicles produced between June 29, 2017 and November 30, 2017, according to the official website of the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration.

The reason for the recall is that the slider of the clutch shock absorber equipped with the vehicle is not strong enough and may be broken, resulting in power interruption in extreme cases, resulting in safety risks. In view of the above defects, SAIC GM Wuling Motor Co., Ltd. will replace the double clutch automatic transmission assembly and flexible disk free of charge for the vehicles within the recall range, in order to eliminate safety risks.

It is worth mentioning that this recall is another recall of the recall of some 2017 Baojun 560DCT automatic transmission vehicles issued by SAIC GM Wuling Motor Co., Ltd. on May 10, 2019. The recall was carried out after the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration launched a defect investigation. Affected by the investigation, SAIC GM Wuling Motor Co., Ltd. decided to take recall measures to eliminate safety risks.

It is understood that on May 10, 2019, SAIC GM Wuling recalled some 2017 Baojun 560 DCT automatic transmission cars produced between June 29, 2017 and November 30, 2017, a total of 19680, for the same reason as this recall.

It is worth mentioning that the model also boarded the "March 15 Party". On July 16, 2020, at the latest issue of "March 15 Party", CCTV reported that several car owners complained about the failure of Baojun 560 gearbox for a long time, while Baojun 560 stopped production as early as March 2018, and now car owners have no way to complain.

On August 19, 2020, SAIC GM Wuling Motor Co., Ltd. (SAIC GM Wuling) was warned by regulators and fined 30,000 yuan. The reason is that SAIC GM Wuling failed to file the relevant information of the three guarantees Law on household cars in accordance with the regulations, which violated the provisions of Article 9 of the provisions on liability for repair, replacement and return of Household Automobile products. According to Article 37 of the provisions on liability for repair, replacement and return of Household Automobile products and Article 4, paragraph 2 of the Administrative punishment Law of the people's Republic of China, the following administrative penalties are imposed: 1. Warning; 2. Fine. SAIC GM Wuling expressed no objection on the spot and was willing to bear the corresponding legal liability.
