Tesla, as a pure electric car manufacturer in the United States, has an absolute advantage over other car companies.

Recently, some media counted the "list of US Electric vehicle sales in 2020". According to the list, all four models of Tesla appear on the list, and their sales are higher than those of other new energy models. The sales of four Tesla models account for 79% of the total sales of electric vehicles in the United States.

Tesla currently has four mass-produced models on sale, all of which are in the top 10. Specifically, the Tesla Model 3 is the highest-selling model in the US electric car market, with a cumulative annual sales of 95135 vehicles. In second place, also from Tesla, the Model Y sold 71344 vehicles in the past year. In addition, Tesla Model S and Model X also appeared on the list, with sales of 19652 and 14430 respectively, ranking fourth and fifth respectively. As a result, the total sales of Tesla's four models reached 200561, accounting for 80% of the total sales of electric vehicles in the United States.

In terms of other models, the third is the Chevrolet Bolt EV, although the cumulative annual sales of 19664 vehicles, but compared with the second place Tesla Model Y.

Among the top 10 models on the list, it is even more impossible to compete with several popular models of Tesla. The sixth to tenth models are the Nissan Leaf, Audi e-tron, Porsche Tycan, Hyundai KONA and Kia Niro. Nissan leaf, as an old electric vehicle under Nissan, although its safety is well received, compared with other models, there is still a certain gap in product power and configuration, with cumulative sales of 8972 vehicles in 2020.

As a luxury brand, Audi e-tron sold 7089 vehicles and Porsche Taycan sold 3943. Compared with the above models, the sales of Korean electric cars are slightly depressed, with Hyundai KONA and Kia Niro selling less than 3000 vehicles.

Generally speaking, Tesla, as an enterprise committed to the development of new energy vehicles, can beat all directions in the market with Model 3, Model Y, Model S and Model X. At present, Tesla's model sales account for the majority of the market share in both the United States and China.

With electrification becoming the future trend of automobile development, many car companies have shifted their focus to the development of electric vehicles. Even under the influence of novel coronavirus, the overall market sales have declined, but the sales volume of electric vehicles is still growing compared with 2019.
