The owner of the Yitou XT in Qingdao, Shandong Province complained to the media that at the beginning, he found that the car lacquer drum bag under the wheel eyebrow had a little trace of embroidery, but he did not pay much attention to it at that time, but when the outside embroidery was removed, he found that the inside had been very rusty. The owner said that the body near the left rear wheel was the most rusty, the right rear wheel also showed signs of rust, and other parts of the body, such as the four doors and trunk doors, also began to show varying degrees of rust.

In addition to Changan Yiyou, other models also have similar problems. The owner of a Changan CS75 Plus said, "once after washing the car, I accidentally found a lot of rust spots on the car body, including several rust spots on the engine cover. I really don't know how thin and bad the paint is."

Some car owners have the problem of rusting the car body shortly after picking up the car. The owner of a Changan CS95 said it found rust spots on the car the next day and encountered other quality problems in the short term. In addition, Changan CS75 Plus owners said that the central console column, the car body part of the welding joint rust phenomenon, but less than a year away from the car.

At present, a number of car owners have complained that many models of Changan Automobile have varying degrees of rust, and some car owners have complained in the relevant complaint forum.

Generally speaking, the rust of the car body is mainly due to the fact that the basic material of most automobile parts is steel, which is easy to oxidize when it comes into contact with the water vapor of the external natural environment, which leads to the phenomenon of corrosion. Of course, car body rust also has something to do with the manufacturing process of car companies.

An automobile painting process engineer said, "ordinary vehicles will not rust in five years or rust in ten years, but there are still some differences among brands, which are related to body materials, paint, sealing, process control, and so on."

According to the car quality network, as far as Changan Automobile is concerned, car owners' complaints about body rust include Yitou, CS75, CS35 and so on. The models involved are not only the old models of 2013 and 2014, but also the new cars of 2018, 2019 and 2020. The rusty parts of the body include doors, bonnet, chassis, seats and so on.

At present, some Changan car owners have asked manufacturers to recall seriously rusty vehicles. A Changan Escape owner said that two years after buying the car, he found rust spots on the body, and after sanding it with sandpaper, he found that the internal steel plate Douyin was completely embroidered through. The after-sales solution proposed by the 4S store was to repair the body after cutting and re-soldering. However, he could not accept such a treatment and asked Changan Automobile to recall the rusty vehicle and re-study the solution.

Previously, some car companies have been forced to recall because their cars are rusty. At the March 15 evening of CCTV in 2013, the Jianghuai Tongyue car was exposed to be covered with rust, and many cars' bodies and steel plates near the chassis rusted. A number of car owners said that they have repeatedly approached Jianghuai manufacturers and 4S stores on this issue, which have provided free maintenance to some car owners who came to their homes, but many car owners' problems have not been solved, and they are very worried that this problem will affect the safety of the whole vehicle.

Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Co., Ltd. decided to recall 117072 Tongyue cars because the inner surface coating quality of the outer panels of some vehicles did not meet the process standards, the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration announced on March 19. If you drive in a humid environment for a long time, rust may occur on the outer panels of the side walls of some vehicles. In view of the above defects, Jianghuai Automobile will inspect the vehicles within the recall scope, and take the method of replacing the improved body panels for the vehicles found to be rusted during the inspection, and for the vehicles with serious corrosion, the improved body will be replaced free of charge. Uncorroded vehicles shall be protected by injecting protective wax into the inner cavity of the threshold of the car body.

At present, a number of car owners have reported that there is a problem of rust on the body of Changan Automobile. In the case of a precedent, the owner hopes that the manufacturer can recall it and put forward effective measures to solve it. However, Changan Automobile has not yet responded to the problem of body rust.
