Among the new energy models exempted from vehicle purchase tax, pure electric passenger cars include Tesla Model 3, Audi e-tron, BYD Qin PLUS EV, SAIC Volkswagen ID 6X and other models. It is worth noting that BYD Qin PLUS EV and SAIC-Volkswagen ID.6 X are all models that have not yet been released, which means that these models will be put on the market soon.

Plug-in hybrid models, there are three cars in the catalogue, namely, the plug-in hybrid versions of Changan Ford Ruiji, Lincoln adventurer and Audi A8L.

As can be seen from the list of purchase tax exemptions, traditional car companies such as SAIC-Volkswagen have accelerated their expansion of Huaxin Energy vehicles in order to ensure the market share of brands in China. After all, new models like Wuling Hongguang MINI and Tesla Model 3, which continue to sell well on the market, have been on the duty-free list, which undoubtedly further promotes the growth of brand sales.

Not long ago, the head of the Volkswagen brand announced that Volkswagen had officially launched an "acceleration" strategy to vigorously promote pure electric vehicles and self-driving. Under the plan, Volkswagen will increase its share of pure electric vehicles in Europe to 70% by 2030 from 35% previously planned, and to 50% in China and the United States.
