According to Tesla's official website in China, the price of Model S Plaid Plus has risen from 1.1749 million yuan to 1.2399 million yuan, up 65,000 yuan or 5.5%.

This is an overseas market adjustment following Tesla's $10000 increase in the price of the Tesla Model Y long-range version and Model S Plaid + model on the U.S. website.

It is understood that the Model S Plaid Plus version is the Tesla brand's flagship model that has not yet been released and is expected to be released in the second half of this year. As the flagship model, Tesla's Plaid model has more powerful performance than the regular model, while the Plaid Plus model has a range of 837km, a combined maximum power of more than 1100 horsepower, a top speed of 322km/h, and an official zero-hundred acceleration time of less than 2.1 seconds.

The price increase may now be to get closer to its rival Porsche Taycan Turbo and maximize profits, after all, consumers who choose Tesla's flagship model are not the main consumers. At the same time, Tesla has added more features to the Model S Plaid + model to increase its appeal to competitors.

Tesla's price for the Model 3 standard battery life upgrade in the United States has increased by $500 from $36990 to $37490. The Model 3 long-range four-wheel drive version costs $500 less than $46990 to $46490. The high-performance version of the Model 3 remains unchanged at $55990. Domestic production is not adjusted due to the Shanghai factory.
