Hyundai has said that it wants to build Genisse into an independent brand "with a complete product lineup, improve Hyundai brand value and improve corporate profitability", and put forward a plan to complete six product lineup by 2021, covering different segments such as SUV and sports coupe.

According to the data of the Federation of passengers, the domestic luxury car retail market sold 3.236 million vehicles in 2020, an increase of 6.5% over the same period last year, accounting for 16.2% of the total passenger car sales. The reverse growth indirectly reflects the hot sales of China's luxury car market. However, Genisseth is targeting luxury brands such as Audi, Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Lexus, which have a deep-rooted position in the Chinese market. Genisse's choice to enter China at this time not only increases the possibility of development, but also has a lot of competitive pressure, so it's not easy to get a place.
