According to Renault's car renderings, the Renault 5 prototype has adopted a new brand logo, from a three-dimensional diamond logo to a flat diamond logo.

It is worth mentioning that Renault, as a French brand, is consistent with Peugeot, which has previously announced a change of logo, that is, to select one of the historical car logo versions for redesign. It is understood that the Renault logo has undergone at least eight major changes in history, including the first appearance of the Renault diamond car logo in 1925. In terms of sales, Renault Group's global sales in 2020 was 2.95 million vehicles, down 21.3% from the same period last year.
