In the end, BYD, BAIC and Yutong bus subsidies ranked in the top three, with 4.36 billion yuan, 1.71 billion yuan and 1.46 billion yuan respectively. Brilliance BMW, Jiangling Motor, SAIC Volkswagen and other car companies did not receive subsidies.

Among them, BYD became the new energy vehicle production brand with the largest amount of subsidized funds that year, with a cumulative amount of 4.358 billion yuan. The funds were obtained by two main engine factories of the BYD system, BYD Automotive Co., Ltd. And BYD Automotive Industry Co., Ltd.

The second was BAIC Group, which received a cumulative subsidy of 1.711 billion yuan, which was obtained by Beijing Automobile Co., Ltd., BAIC Foton Automobile Co., Ltd., and Beijing New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd.

Yutong bus has become the highest subsidy among new energy commercial vehicle enterprises, with a cumulative subsidy of 1.459 billion yuan.

Although most of those who receive new energy subsidies in 2019 are independent brands, great changes have taken place in the new energy vehicle market. With the influx of more and more joint venture companies, the subsidies in the new energy vehicle market will also be divided. Since Tesla did not start production until the end of 2019, he was not on the list of subsidies for that year. However, it will become the best-selling electric brand in China in 2020 and may receive a lot of government subsidies in 2020.

At present, the subsidies for new energy vehicles are accelerated to decline, and local subsidies are also gradually withdrawn, and the application and examination conditions tend to be stricter in the future. It will only be more difficult for car companies to get new energy subsidies.
